I make the mistake of not reading the lyrics before I fall in love with the song and know it by heart, the wrong way
I do the same and then sometimes read through the lyrics and think "what the Hell!", and then they make more sense But then again, it's like discovering a brand new song!

happens to me all the time....before i was familiar with the internet (in the early/mid nineties) and when there were no liner notes, i remember playing a song over and over and over and over and stopping at strategic points and rewinding and playing again, and trying so hard to figure out what the hell ed was singing. then when i thought i had it, that's what it became. and that's what i sang...top of my lungs....regardless of whether it was right or not. of course, i thought it was.
till this very day i still hear the wrong words and giggle to myself and wonder how i ever could have come up with such stuff and nonsense. LOL!
Funniest part is, that I'm sure I still do it, I just don't know it, so its OK. :roll:

If Eddie ever leaves the band, there just will be no more Pearl Jam...it would have to be something else then. Just can't happen. That's a sad thought for me...but I don't think there's any worry at this point.
