That's actually a totally reasonable price for a snowboarding jacket with those specs. Personally, I'm a skier... but I'd consider springing for this PJ jacket if there was a "female" fit/design option.
Do they offer lay-a-way? that way I can have it paid off & be wearin it the next time PJ tours!
I'm sure it's a great jacket and everyone in PJ, and their respective families and inner circle can afford one... will any of the money from the purchase of this item be going to any worthy causes??

i had said this time and time again ..... IF ANY oOF YOU "OUT OF TOWNERS "want the jacket AND DONT WANT TO PAY THE DUTY TAXES AND SUCH......... purchase it and send it to my house (in the US) and i will in return send it out to you ...will save you a shit load of money in the long end
and iwont even open it .. just relable it
For the USA fan's, yep! How much this 4lb box shipped out with the amount of duty tax/shipping charges to Canada, you don't want to know. You don't want to know. :(
Yeah, that is a very good jacket, and not a bad price... if you like to ride groomers and catwalks...
This jacket costs $100 less than snowboarding for an entire season at Keystone, Breck, A-Basin, and 10 days at Vail/Beaver Creek.
As a snowboarder, not a crazy good one, but pretty fearless one, I don't like to spend big bucks on outer shell gear... I promise, if I had this jacket, I would rip the shit out of it 1st powder day we get... Trees have branches, and they snag things, puncture, etc. Also, I wish they wouldn't encourage people to listen to music while they ride... At least 5 times last year I have been flagged down by people hurt, stuck, etc... I think there is a responsibility that comes with boarding/skiing, you need to be aware, ready to help people...
Currently, foreign currencies such as the South African Rand, Botswana Pula, Pound Sterling and the United States Dollar are widely used instead for nearly all transactions in Zimbabwe, and the current government of Zimbabwe has insisted that the Zimbabwean dollar should only be reintroduced if the industrial output improves.

Exactly.
Same thing goes for riding bikes. Save the headphones for when you don't need your ears for other purposes.

Although I will not buy this, I want to point out that professional snowboard gear is generally in this price range, if not even more expensive. However, I doubt serious boarders would actually go for this, so the target audience doesn't quite match the pricing here. It's probably good quality either way.
That is a good point. Specialized gear tends to run very high. And like you, I'm glad I don't snowboard or my wallet would be a little lighter.
I just bought a new jacket last season, my boyfriend would kill me if i bought another one.
Personally I wouldn't really want a snowboarding jacket that had pearl jam all over it, but I agree that a good jacket would run you that kind of money. I went against my better judgement and bought a pair of burton pants last season... Anyone whos been in a board shop could tell you 370 is probably the norm depending on quality.
For Dutch residents: you can order it from downtown.nl through the importer for NL: stairss.nl. It will set you back 299 euros though (but I guess taxes/import charges would do that just the same). It should also be available in other Euro-countries (I spoke to the sales man from Sessions Europe). I guess Tenclub will forward you to the right persons/shops in the case you want it there, otherwise PM.

So is your point expensive outerwear should only been worn on the groomers?

Snowboard vs. Ski jacket is pretty much the same nowadays. They all look the same
Definitely agree on the fit option though Pretty much a guys only jacket.
