5 guys who just want to play music

no bullshit at their shows, a stage, a few lights and the band playing their asses off. That's why I love this band, they do it the way it should be done!

I was 15 when a little record named "Ten" came out. Changed my life. Every album and live show since has had an impact on my life. Especially "No Code." Still my favorite record of all time. So many more things I could say here but I don't wanna ramble.

    Thanks again for the chance.

their lyrics, their sound, their work, their give back to the fans, their abilities to help the world and the environment, bootlegs, seats up close, monkey wrench radio, fighting ticketmaster, love for vinyl....and most importantly, existing or I would not be the person i am today or the father or the husband

Pearl Jam saved my life this year, can't really say more about it,this is a very personal stuff, but my love for them can't be bigger now, thanks to them i am who i am now,i am who i was before.

Apart from that i love them for not being so called "stars",for being a normal guys who just plays music for people, and after all that years they're still the same.

  • Pearl Jam was the first band I really got into as a kid and and they keep me feeling like a kid 20 years later !!!

    Thanks D !!
  • Thanks D for the opportunity! This band, like so many people before me said, is there for whatever I need. When I'm down, when I'm up, tough times and in good times. It's very hard to put it into words. I can't thank my friend enough for getting me hooked on this group. And I couldn't begin to thank this group for being a part of my life.

Thanks again, D. and thanks to the greatest group on the planet! Also, thank you to all the fans out there that make the Jamily so very special.

Hmm. I love Pearl Jam because they love what they do and it shows, on their albums and live, especially. There is truly nothing like a PJ concert because of the energy and passion of a band kicking out awesome jams. Plus, the raw emotion in the music is truly moving, unlike any other.

Pearl Jam has helped me process some horrible things in my life. Child abuse etc. I am trying to collect more Pearl Jam shows since I don't have very much right now. Good luck to all! :geek:

To put it simply, they are just incredible. I mean Eddie's voice gives me the chills more than any other vocalist out there. Just amazing.

Pearl Jam has been apart of me since I was 8 years old. It is held my hand through the years of being an impressionable teenager up to my relatively young adulthood.

  • I listen to Pearl Jam because I value good, well-written music and, for me, having grown up in the 90's, I identify the easiest with their music.

    Thanks for the chance!

I didn't even like music in general before hearing Jeremy on the radio back in the day. My sister (who was than in college) told me she already had the CD and would give it to me when she came home for vacation. I couldn't wait that long and bought the cassette (obviously, it was the first album I ever bought). Here we are 20 years later, I'll be 30 next month and am buying Pearl Jam onesies for my baby boy.
Still can't believe I met Mike Mccready at the Guggenheim and got a pic with him!!!!!
