They always preach about education...which members have college degrees? Master degrees? etc.
You don't need to have bachelors and masters or PhDs to appreciate the importance of education and "preach".... another pointless thread just like the one you started about PJ being rude :rolleyes:

It doesnt matter.....I know they talk about education alot.....I was wondering if any of them had high level degrees...thats it, nothing more. All I keep getting is knowledge comes from the stem of a flower drifting softly in a summer breeze...LOL
In all honesty I don't think a Bachelor's in anything means anything these days. I have a BS in Psych and I work in Finance. While the BS in Psych comes in handy in interpersonal relationships I can't say it's really handy in the actual field I work in, So it's not really fair to gauge anyone on the degree they hold,

I read this thread feeling totally neutral but I feel compelled to say I'm leaning towards Spinbrett's side here.
He did just ask a simple question and instead got a bunch of comments that didn't answer it.
The point is, there was nothing in his original post that indicates he is somehow criticizing any member of the band for having or not having a degree.

Maybe we are just biased because of the ridiculous thread you started earlier about the band being rude because they made fun of the president among other things, and how you get banned for being rude but the band can get away with it....

I thought I read that Eddie went back and got his GED (not easy to do once you get out of the habit of studying and what not). I also think Jeff took some classes at a Univ. in Montana before his move to Seattle (but not sure)
Eddie seemed like he read a lot (probably still does) and often used to quote authors in his interviews. I found about Howard Zinn while reading an old Eddie interview. So I guess he taught me something
thank you keiran....ya, I heard Jeff was enrolled in college even in the early years oj PJ. I was just curious as to what field they got into etc. Ed has always used high level similes, metaphors, quotes, etc. I was wondering if he had a degree in english/philosophy etc. Plus, I wonderif any of them plan to go back to school? Or are they done?
