    I love my nephew who played his first gig last night in a little pub in Probus, Cornwall. He is only 15, plays lead guitar and rocks so hard. He played Black Sabbath's War Pigs, then Paranoid and finished with All day and All of the Night by the Kinks. It went down so well they played a 10 minute improv jam after as an encore.

    He was "guesting" for his teaching assistant from school. Very basic stuff, Tom (my nephew) played lead, this guy plays rhythm and vocals with a drum and bass backing track playing. It was his first public performance apart from some school assembly spots. The pub landlord said to him after that he had a few bands playing in the next couple of months so he was going to talk to them about getting him another guest spot. He is working on putting a band together, has all the moves, even plays some solo's behind his head like his hero, so once he has a real gig lined up I will spread the word, see if we can round up some jamily for support! :D
