as a matter of fact I already determined I'm going out to dinner tonight. I bought something the other day, and the next day it went on sale for almost half price, so I'm bringing it back tonight for the sale price - and since I had already put the money out, I might as well treat us to a nice dinner :P
WAITER: It's a full bird. Stuffed with ham, topped with gorganzola.
salad too, all the fixin's
several glasses of wine before hand.
several during dinner and after.
or was that whiskey shots too?
prawn in butter and lemon frying on the stove.
seasonings added whatever you like.
steaks on the grill, wood fired grill.
wine and green-hooter in hand.
music playing nicely in the background.
life is terrible.

Yes, but you have to know to look around a bit. Major stores sell the same shit quality here as they do everywhere. Co-ops and private farms/ranches are key. Saturday market has awesome choices.

That's my rational on why I should be allowed to hunt and eat people, but I always get strange looks when I say that.

:wtf:
My wife and I get our meat and dairy through a Co-op and the difference in taste from store bought (pumped full of who knows what) is shocking.
Not from me you don't.

Not so much about what is or isnt pumped into the animal...More about what they eat whilst being raised. That said, the whole antibiotic free or hormone free is another government sham that we could talk about for days. At any rate...Not much difference in your co-op or buying from a major packer or grocer...Unless they are a certified organic farm, then 99% prob same thing...:-)

what about those places that pump in water and other crap into the meat?
i like to see my beef cut off a big slab of meat. butchers are the best when you can find them.
