    I've been listening to the 2009 and 2010 bootlegs almost entirely on an above-average mp3 playing phone - downloading the mp3 versions not the flac - I'm currently only listening to mp3s and vinyl (don't ask!!).

    I have found it has taken quite a lot of fiddling with the eq settings, and my various headphones etc to get the sound listenable, but when I have got there I have enjoyed them as much or more than any of the boots from any of the previous years - I have experienced headaches - since the sound seems quite 'bright' at first, but I have got round it with the eq settings. I don't know the reason for this, but I have got on better with my mp3 player than with the smaller number of 2009 cds I bought (I have very few eq settings on my CD system).

    Anyway, just listening to Werchter, and as with London 2010 I think the sound is brilliant now I have the settings I'm happy with. I know next to fuck all about digital recording science, other than it generally sucks compared to my vinyl setup. I guess what I'm saying is - I am getting great value out of these mp3!!

    You guys are right, these bootlegs suck. I can't hear any of Boom's vocals. WTF Kufala, Pearl Jam and Ten Club!

    I got my Berlin CD in the mail yesterday, and I think the sound quality on it is superb!

    I have a couple of bootlegs from each tour, and this might be the best sounding bootleg I have.

    Just my two cents

    Thanks, it was the only show i did this year, but what a show.
    Im so happy the bootleg came out as good as it did

    I'm only half way through listening so far but unfortunately I completely disagree.

    I find anytime I have high expectations of a show because of what people around here are saying I end up disappointed. Boston 2010 is another example of this. I really enjoyed Hartford and Belfast though.

    Hartford was real good, and I have not gotten around to listenting to Belfast yet, but Berlin just kills the competion for me. I will have to check out Belfast tonight.

    Anyone who can antagonise the Israelis, the Pakistanis, the Brits, the Yanks, and probably the French in a single week of press conferences must be doing something right eh?? :D

    Anyway, back on topic - with my mp3 phone set to 'wide' this time - Lisbon is sounding pretty great to me. I'm yet to find a 2010 boot that doesn't yield serious magic with at least ONE targeted eq setting - there have been some great shows - you just have to look a bit harder than usual!! (Lisbon's black! fuckin eh indeed - who says Ed has run out of breath??)

    Have yet to tackle Berlin official since the audience boot was easily good enuf to reduce me to a melted mess - I think I will have the full EU collection on official soon - quite a collection - might just have to note down the best settings for each show!!
