All I know is that if I paid 235-250 bucks for a ticket (which i did), I wouldn't want to miss half of the festival.

Damn, Thursday night looks pretty amazing this year. I bet they do late nights this year given there are that many bands.

Been to the past 3 Roos. 06 was the best of those with Radiohead's epic performance there. Got a great spot the first 2 years then not so good last year. This year I'm going VIP so I don't have to worry about getting a good camping spot.

Last time I went to Roo, I got there Thursday morning, and I don't think you could park any further back. The walk really sucked, by the time it was Sunday I couldn't hardly do the walk anymore-this year is VIP, it's the only way you can be sure where you will park otherwise there is no way to tell where they will put you, it's part of their plan.

I was going to mention that if you don't have VIP I would not have a problem getting there Friday AM, or before 12pm anyway.

My first Roo, in VIP so I don't want to miss the party!! Also wondering if they were going to add a small venue like at Lolla. I would assume that would have been like Wed night? So theres an answer for that.

I will be trying for NYC and Hartford. They fit best into my schedule. I said in 2006 that I would not miss Mass. again, but with all my expenses I am not in any way able to make it to those (you know there will be another added).

Happy with what I have coming up. Don't make yourself crazy!
Haha, I say that while I am a nervous wreck trying to figure out how the hell I am going to work on Wed and worry about getting tickets while I will probably have a patient waiting in a room bleeding all over the place! Fingers crossed for a few no shows in the office!
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

Yeah, I'd do the VIP thing if I could afford it, but I've already bought the regular weekend pass. Thanks though

My wife is going with me to Bonnaroo, but she doesn't want to go down to WPB because she's in school and she's trying to miss the least amount of time as possible. She thinks that Roo is enough, but I guess that I'm more greedy :)

Well, wives are pretty important! Think it through. You will know what to do. Sucks they are doing it so close huh?

My advice go to the show on the 11th, then go to Roo.
I said in the other thread it is going to be EPIC. I don't want to miss a thing.

See ya in the line to wait for entrance to main stage Saturday Night!

Cool thanks. Yeah, the wife told me that she doesn't mind if I go to the WPB show as long as she makes it to Roo

I think the schedule is normally released a few weeks before the festival.

Last year Bonnaroo started a new system for the area closest to the main stage that they said is used in European festivals. fans have to leave this area after each performance and a new group of people are allowed in for the next band. They did this to make it allow more people to get up front without having to camp in one spot all day. Then you are free to go check to other bands earlier in the day.

i read this somewhere else too. how exactly do they do this? is there a separate gated area towards the front of the main stage? i would imagine a line would have to form somewhere at some point to get in to this area, especially for pj?
