yea but flaherty gets too in depth all the time

its cool that we have so many different player announcers but he over analyzes EVERYTHING

not to mention he could of gotten abit more excited with the A bomb last night

i like pauly o and all his food

    leiter is good also
i post on the board of a band that doesn't exsist anymore .......i need my head examined.......

    oh and more importantly

they should shelve mo till after the all star break

even if we lose the next 5 games and the rays win all of them were only 3 out after the break..but with a hopefully healthy mo

he needs a solid 10 days off

I was saying this same thing last night. I would DL him now, they need him a lot more later than they do now. Give him 2 weeks rest and let him come back hopefully better. The knee thing does not sound good.

Aceves would be awesome to have right now, especially since Chan Ho sucks. I wouldn't expect much, if anything from Aveces this yeah though. His back seems to be pretty serious.

Yeah, after another setback. He won't be contributing this year. Relief and the bench at the deadline is definitely the priority. Ramiro Pena and Chan Ho are not going to cut it

Not sure how much I like this. Although I do think the "home run derby ruins your swing" argument is nonsense

agreed. i just don't like a player going up there and taking like 200 hacks in the course of a couple hours. the chances of pulling or straining something in that time frame is pretty great.

I wouldn't worry about Cano. A lot of his home runs and most of his swings are on the line drive variety.

Sounds like Oppenhemier is the top choice for the D'backs GM job. Would be a big loss.

I am not terribly concerned, more along the line with what Rival said above and what Kevin Long said about it just being a tiring process.

ESPN is now reporting cano dropped out of the HR derby.

    wise choice.

I wouldn't call ESPN reporting it. I'd guess that someone who works there happened to read Blogging the Bombers and saw this http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/yankee ... -home.html. And then in what ESPN does, they credit themselves for having it.

Looks like K Long got his way.

So it seems Cano didn't know he was out of the HR derby. It was a Yankees decision.

Damn, that shit hurts. Don't see someone foul one off the plate and into his jaw often. Can't feel too good.
