    Hey,
What time do you guys plan on queueing in the morning? Me and my sis have never done this before and we want to get to the barriers.. :D
If we arrive around 8 am, will it be okay? Or should we be there earlier?
Also, do we queue in front of the box office or the gates?? How does this work?

    8 days to go!!

people seem to be ignoring me... :(

Wasn't, honestly, but I didn't know the answer.

    all right, sorry...

Do you have Tenclub tickets? They allow early entry at 14:15 instead of the GA 14:30.

If you want to get to the barrier I suggest you get there much earlier than 8am... there will already be a queue at that time. Friends of mine queued last year for London to get barrier and started at 4am...

Also, be prepared, there are some people who take queuing VERY seriously. If you get there early enough you'll probably have a number scribbled on your hand to ensure you keep YOUR place in the queue and don't get pushed back or can't jump a few places. If you're planning on staying at the front I suggest you don't drink very much all day, if you catch my drift... but if it's warm I don't suggest you jeopardise your health just to end up missing the show and being carried out by front of stage security cuz you passed out...

Oh, and when they do open the doors, run.

Queuing is a very serious business at PJ shows...

    Hope this helps

    THANKS!!

    This really helps!

Yeah, I do have Ten Club tickets :) Will give it a try on friday in London and later in Gdynia :D

    would have told the same.
i once nearly passed out in the front (the incense-stick tour, uah) and this spoiled the evening, of course. thats not worth it. go early, run and try, but dont be stupid and better get a 'nicer' spot somewhere if you or your friend dont feel well after hours of waiting. good luck and take care!

Thanks for the advice and nice words :)

Will try not to pass out... hopefully the weather won't be too hot..

Nope, no golden circle. There's only a VIP section and these tickets aren't provided by the 10C. You can buy them at Livenation and they're REALLY expensive.

HRC never has a Golden Circle. Usually only bands doing their own shows at Hyde Park that have them ... and then the bands usually charge you more for the tickets for the Golden Circle.
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

ok tks. presume the VIP bit is not inbetween the main standing area and the barrier?

It's a seated area at the side

Has anyone here been to a big Hyde Park show before, and can suggest a decent place to stand apart from the barrier? Me and the wife are taking my parents, both nearly 60, so up front is out of the question :D Wondering if there are certain areas which provide a better view than others...

if you stand towards the back you will have space to dance and you will have views of the large screens

went to HRC for Bruce last year and it's really pretty relaxed. loads of food and booze areas inside, with places to sit and eat/drink, go as far forward as you feel comfortable with (or can get!), sound seemed to be pretty good and we weren't that close so i think you should be OK wherever you choose to stand.
Oh yeah? Well, I've had about enough of morons and halfwits, dolts, dunces, dullards and dumbbells - and you chowderhead yokel, you blithering hayseed, you - you've had enough of me?

Fucking motherfucking bunch of assholes !!!!!!!! angry.gif

I’m really organized: Last February, I booked three nights in a hotel in London (Colliers Hotel: we’ve already been there 5 times in two years) through an internet booking site (venere.com).

This morning, I received this email:
Nous confirmons avoir reçu votre annulation pour votre demande de réservation

Which means : "We confirm your cancellation for your booking" (in the site, they even say that the hotel canceled my reservation because I asked for it, but that’s bullshit: I never canceled anything). pullhair.gif

I’m fucking leaving France tomorrow. Now, I’ll have to waste my day looking for another one. rifle.gif

Fuck, fuck, fuck and fuck. crash.gif

Get in touch with them and ask them, its probably just a mistake that hopefully will be easily resolved.

It ain't! I called venere.com and they say that no one except me could cancel it (since the canceler needs my email adress and my telephone number) but, the thing is :

    1. They DO say, in the mail that the colliers hotel canceled it (for me).

    2. The Colliers Hotel has my email adress and my telephone number.

    3. They gave me a number in Italy and no one would answer ("We're sorry, nobody's available for the moment").

I went in an other site and here's what one of the customers says :
j'avais réservé 3 nuits dans cet hotel 3 mois a l'avance par un site de reservation sur internet (travelstay). J'ai telephoné 2 jours avant notre arrivée et le gerant m'a dit que tout etait ok.
quand on est arrivé, il a regardé la feuille et a tout simplement annulé notre reservation car le prix n'etait pas assez élevé pour lui!!
nous avons rencontré 2 francaises a qui il etait arrivé la meme chose et qui etaient tres mecontentes de la propreté...

    Which means :
I had reserved 3 nights in this hotel, 3 months in advance, through an internet booking site ( travelstay ). I phoned 2 days before our arrival and the owner told me that everything was OK.
When we arrived, he looked at the booking history and simply cancelled our reservation because the price wasn’t high enough for him!!
We met 2 french girls who happened to have the same problem with them…

    I'm stuck.

    That really sucks

I got my hotel through price line where you name your own price and ended up with a decent hotel for failry cheap. So you could give that a try.

    Thanks a lot, surfanddestroy.

But, unfortunately, nothing really interesting in the area I'm looking for (since I'm arriving at Victoria Sation) because (i'm sure), it's only 24h before my arrival. :(

OK! I rang venere.com back (italian hotline), and they made an enquiry: troubles with my visa credit card (that's weird, because, it works everywhere except at the Colliers Hotel, and because, their firstly said that I was the one who asked for the cancellation).

Whatever, Venere.com reconfirmed the booking, I called the hotel back and my girlfriend gave her credit card number (which works fine).
