    A strike? Seriously? :?

    sounds like it...
A threatened tube strike could leave England fans stranded in central London after a World Cup match against Slovenia on June 23rd.

London Underground maintenance workers are set to stage two 48-hour strikes over pay, jobs and working conditions.

The strikes, from Wednesday, June 23, and Wednesday, July 14, will affect the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines.

However, the union is warning that the whole network could be hit.

The planned strike on June 23 from 7pm begins straight after England's World Cup game with Slovenia.

Police are expecting chaos on the streets if supporters coming out of pubs are unable to get home.

not supposed to affect all lines but...

so a 48-hour strike from 7pm on the 23rd would mean tubes *SHOULD* start running properly at 7pm on Friday 25th but, realistically, they'll still be up the creek until Saturday.

    :x
Oh yeah? Well, I've had about enough of morons and halfwits, dolts, dunces, dullards and dumbbells - and you chowderhead yokel, you blithering hayseed, you - you've had enough of me?

From where I am, I can take the train to Vauxhall, then there are a couple of buses that go to Marble Arch.

...and the Hives moved to the Main Stage right before Ben Harper (if that's the correct Running Order). They should exchange Robert Francis and put Gomez on the Main Stage instead.

Has everyone already got their tickets for this?

My girlfriend ordered ours ages ago - through Live Nation I think - and we haven't got anything through. Is anyone else in the same boat?

Got mine either beginning of last week or the week before. Maybe email or ring them?

I got mine from SeeTickets and the last despatch date is 18th June.
  • Yeah, we got our friends ticket for him and even two weeks after what seemed like everyone else getting theirs, the status on our friend's was still 'printing'.

I think they're sending them out in batches...

I have seen the Hives live before, they were energetic and good value. Same with the Gaslight Anthem, who I saw last year. They seemed really happy to be there and put on a quality show at the Kentish Town Forum. Gutted Wolfmother won't be there. Nearly as gutted that I may have to sit through the turge what are Gomez and Ben Harper, both who have bored me to tears before in supporting roles. But despite this, PJ will rock. I am on holiday and return the day before so been looking forward to this week for the last six months or so!
    :D Rock on!!!! :D
Seen Pearl Jam 4 times in London, once in Manchester, as well as an Eddie show at Hammersmith.

We're getting the Easybus from Baker Street To Stansted. The bus stop for the Easy bus is 200 metres from the Baker Street underground station. The Baker Street underground stop is 2 stops from Paddington on the Hammersmith and City line.

The Easybus only cost us around £10 each (might even be as little as £2.99 depending on when you want to travel) but the Stansted Express (the airport service) would cost you around£30.

    Hope this helps

Does anyone know the schedule of performances for HRC? We fly in from Dublin that morning, and want to plan things out accordingly. Thank you, and hopefully we'll see a few of you there.

HRC are having problems with their site. Usually, detailed timings are not published until about a week before the event.
