Quick opinion poll please:

I have all the albums, a handful of bootlegs and the DVD's.

However, The Gorge is £27 here in England and I want to have an honest and objective consensus on whether it's worth shelling out for.

So, is it worth it?

Comments welcome too

P.S. - Who played with PJ in Nijmegen in Holland at Goeffert Park last year? Kings Of Leon, Incubus and ...

  • I would've asked this myself, as I saw it for £35.. bought it on a whim.. and then left it in a bag in the fucking taxi. Have to pick it up on Wednesday; consequently I haven't listened to it yet.

    I think its worth it............

The show from 2005 has the best sound quality (the other ones sound great too)

Second disk of the first night in 2006 is amazing. Great performances all around.

Is it worth it? Guess that depends how important the money is to you.

I was at the 06 shows...got copies before the set came out...not a huge boot collector, wasn't at 05...so for me the money is best spent elsewhere.
  • I think it is well worth it, yes you may be able to download all the shows for free but I had to buy it. The fact I was at all 3 shows is a big reason why.

Yeah, I am a big fan of the Gorge box set. Of course, I was at all 3 shows - so I felt honored that they became an official live album - in a beautiful box set!! The art work itself is almost worth the price.

    Worth what? Your life...?

What a stupid thread...sorry to say this... but com on! A thread that consist of a vague question followed by ten question marks isn't exactly clever..

there were seats at the Gorge shows/venue? I guess I always figured it was just a GA show in the middle of nowhere.

So what is the deal with tents then, is that because the place is out in the middle of nowhere?

someone give me some insight onto the venue-thanks
