Best Pearl Jam Cover?

It is definitely "Love Reign O'er Me", when I first heard that song, that I already knew and loved, it blew me away ! AMAZING, as good as the original version, maybe more intense though !
Eddie's voice is....WOW...it's GREAT !
And before that song was released it was Baba O'Riley, I think .
You can really feel Eddie's admiration for the Who when listening to The Who's covers by PJ !
It keeps the emotion and the beauty and amplify them, there's a huge respect of the original piece, it's cool !
But actually every PJ cover is fantastic, I Believe in Miracles is great as well !

There's 10 that I can't split and there's so many others I could mention. PJ are a top covers band and Freebird would ice the cake beautifully!

D'yas ever see the cover of (Ivan the engine driver, soon be home, a little one while he's gone***Whatever the name of THAT Who song is!), I think its BONUS MATERIAL on the Live from Concierce (sp?) DVD?I don't even know who the band/band members are, but Vedder is singing. It's AWESOME! Seems like a very hard cover to pull off, but "they" & Vedder make it sound excellent...Here it is: and it's "A quick one while he's away" and the band is "My Morning Jacket".Alright!!!!!.......
Note Lyrics below.

VI. You Are Forgiven
DangDang DangDang DangDang DangDang
Cello, cello, cello, cello, cello, cello
Cello, cello, cello, cello, cello, cello
Cello, cello, cello, cello, cello, cello
Cello, cello, cello, cello, cello, cello
I can't believe it
Do my eyes deceive me?
Am I back in your arms?
Away from all harm?
It's like a dream to be with you again
Can't believe that I'm with you again
I missed you and I must admit
I kissed a few and once did sit
On Ivor the Engine Driver's lap
And later with him, had a nap
You are forgiven, you are forgiven, you are forgiven ... (ad lib)
You are forgiven[/i]
what was cool about that performance was the two guys who walked around after asking what were everyone's highlights and universally everyone said they were blown away by PJ ... a lot of whom were not necessarily PJ fans to begin with ...
anyhoo Love Reign O'er Me at MSG1 was fantastic - i really don't see how it could have been played and SUNG better than that night ...

Sammi: Wanna just break up?
The Kids Are Alright...was that a one-shot in Seattle 2000? I always loved that song and they did a good job with it. Pretty sick that they did REM's Talk About The Passion at some point...they definitely should do that again. Wrong Child Tag in Daughter was amazing, too. Nick Cave's Ship Song was surprisingly good. But the real favorites are Leaving Here and Crazy Mary.

Oh, you were in the audience? Cool!
