To think nothing like this had ever been done before (at least on this scale) when they made headlines back in 2000 - releasing all 72 shows from that tour and putting them in retail stores for everyone to buy at a reasonable price. It was awesome then, and with technology now, it's even more awesome that we can get instant FLAC digital downloads (and of course mp3) or you can get a CD mailed to you in a fairly quick fashion.
So to everybody complaining about the quality - it's only been 2 shows - and I have the KC boot - and think the quality is pretty good - with the only knock being Eddie's slightly flat vocals, if anything. That's not Kufala's fault.
Just relax, and be grateful. If you want to bitch about the quality, then go for it, but just try not to forget that they don't have to offer these - I would hate to have to go back to the days of trading crappy sounding audience recordings.
I couldn't agree more.... I bought about 40 of the 2000 boots simply because I was excited that there were soundboards for about 15 bucks... before that we were trading tapes 2 for 1 or paying ridiculous amounts for a bootleg copy of 7/11/95...
It's ok to complain but.... i don't know.... maybe I'm just easy to please, cause I even loved the Newark show8/28/98, 9/8/98, 8/3/00, 8/23/00, 8/24/00,8/27/00, 9/1/00, 10/20/01, 10/21/01, 4/26/03, 4/28/03, 5/3/03, 7/5/03, 7/9/03, 7/14/03, 5/31/06
6/3/06, 6/19/08, EV 8/7/08, 10/30/09, 10/31/09, 05/18/10, EV 6/18/11, 10/25/13, 4/29/16, 9/2/180 -

They do provide outstanding service, but I don't think they mess with the engineering of the boots.
The two I bought last night sound great, so Kufala wasn't blowing smoke in their post about the sound quality for this batch.
Now, what has become of the Cleveland boot? On the order page for the 2010 boots, if you cursor over the area to the left of the Noblesville CD, two yellow boxes appear. I guess this is where the Cleveland order links were supposed to be. Hopefully they get that worked out today.

I really like how quickly Kufala receives the order, ships out, and the bootleg is put in my hands. Very efficient.0
