    Yes he was (so was Dave Gilmour) and no he is alive and well , I saw his show in 2008 and it was fucking brilliant!! (especially if your a Floyd fan)

    First concert I ever saw was Pink Floyd in Toronto 1994. I was 11 and went with my Dad, unreal show.

    This is becoming a "last kiss" tune for me. I would not care if they retired it now... Probably five years from now I would want to hear it again though. This should have went on the into the wild sound track.
