    Yes he was (so was Dave Gilmour) and no he is alive and well , I saw his show in 2008 and it was fucking brilliant!! (especially if your a Floyd fan)

    First concert I ever saw was Pink Floyd in Toronto 1994. I was 11 and went with my Dad, unreal show.

    Saw Pink Floyd at the old Cleveland Municipal Stadium in 1994. . . that was 2 months after my 1st PJ show at Cleveland State Univercity on March 22, 1994. Both were phenominal shows !!!
