My first thought when I first saw your original post with this picture was, "Wow, someone has an identical garden to me, what with the heather and laurel bush together."

I am it's not a bad gig considering I love flowers!
Holidays are rough but it is a great job. Flowershops smell wonderful. Our customers would come in and say "it smells lovely in here" I couldn't smell it after awhile :( just strange. But I left to raise my kids at 29 so its been many many moons now and I can smell it again when I visit a shop or the grocery store flower dept. I always thought I'd own my own by now but maybe someday I could call it Granny's!
