    oh, and I was not a western mass person ... I actually went to UMass Lowell for undergrad ... and B.U. for my MBA .... just know a little about ZooMass.

    but Cali is where it is at! :D

    Yes, that shrubery is still there. I passed it a few weeks back on my way out to Albany from the South Coast of MA.

    using the red scoop (small) ... not the green (med) or black (huge) scoop ... 3 scoops vanilla, 2 scoops chocolate ice cream .... toppings of peanut butter, fudge (don't think there was marshmellow) ... whiped cream, reeses pieces and a cherry. I think.

    i can make a jim dandy with my eyes closed (do they still have those?)

    That would be a yes. I actually have a gift certificate that my fiance got when she got her tonslis out that I haven't used yet. Me thinks it'll be used this weekend in honor of the Western Mass PJ thread...even though I live on the South Coast.

    that was really strange to see a 'whats friendly's, some kind of restaurant?' i forget it's a northeastern place (more or less)

    Northampton is where most of the local music scene happens.
    Great venues and wonderful concerts.
    Jump on your bike and take the Norwottuck Bikepath to the Northampton Rail Trail to see what's here.
    Herrills Ice Cream in Northampton is the best in the area.

    Great places for Live Music in Northampton: IRON HORSE, THE CALVIN THEATRE, LOOK PARK, PEARL ST...

    youll see bands ranging from local to bands like the Black Crowes playing in Northampton... Drive by Truckers play there sometimes too
