As much as I like the Chili Peppers AK is NOT a great frontman, he just isn't.
Geddy Lee of Rush is more captivating to me while playing all his instruments.

I think hes better then Kurt Cobain, RHCP they've been in the game a long time and got lots of great albums and songs. I think Kurt is a loser and most songs reflect that!! Kurt cant be considered GREAT in any sence of the word. He couldnt handle being great. I think a GREAT frontman is Great on and off the stage. Kurt was drugged out Loser with marbles in his mouth.DewieCox wrote:Timmortal wrote:How come no one has mentioned Anthony Kiedis??? Did I spell it right?? U know REDHOTCHILIPEPPERS

I agree about Cobain(except him being better than Cobain), but there's alotta perceived greatness, plus he is the obvious leader of the band where Keidis is 3rd down the rung.
Keidis just isn't great at anything that great frontmen are. His lyrics, vocals, and ability to engage the crowd are all average. He's lucky he has Froosh and Flea in his band.0 -
Okay I get sick of hearing about Cobain, what about frontman like Trent R , Marilyn Manson, Corey Taylor, David Drainman, Serj T?? All these guys know how to put on a great show !! Oh yeah and one of my personal favourites John Davis of Korn!! The crowd goes nuts when his mic stand is revealed I dont know of any other frontman that gets the crowd going before even steps on stage!!Barrie 08/22/98

Liam fcking Gallagher?!? Seriously? He's not even the best frontman in his family let alone the greatest of all time! Wow, I am genuinely amazed at how on earth they could have come to this decision.

funny, I thought the same exact thing a couple years ago when I saw them in Camden...oh and he left the stage a couple of times, maybe for a quick bumpie?????0 -

First off. I've seen PJ 11 times and Eddie 4 times. I've seen Oasis 3 times. I'm glad to say that in London, Ontario in 2008 I snuck up to the front row, and during one of his infamous "stare-downs" with audience members, Liam and I locked eyes. So I gratifyingly took the opportunity to give him the finger and repeatedly yell "F*CK YOU" until he looked away. PJ and Eddie for life.
At another show in Toronto in 2006 or 2007, Liam kept going back stage to sniff lines and keep his "high." A few of my very attractive lady friends got to go backstage after the show and they told me all he could do was bury his face in the mirror..chained to the mirror and the razorblade if you will.
He's a loser, and whoever wrote that article overlooked some great performers and insulted many other frontmen, including Eddie Vedder and Dave Grohl.
Besides, it's clear that Noel Gallagher is and always was the REAL talent of Oasis.
lol. Liam Gallagher is a wanker, a complete dick who's full of tired and borrowed cliches.
Plant is number 1 for me, closely followed by Bon Scott and Ed.I came, I saw, I concurred.....0 -
