Liam has been named the Greatest Frontman Of All Time

Liam has been named the Greatest Frontman Of All Time by readers of Q Magazine. No argument from us.

When he's on stage, he commands your attention whether it be snarling out every word with limitless passion or challenging the audience to a staring out match (which he always wins!). His trademark stance - leaning up towards the mic, arms behind his back - is known the world over and has become iconic in its own right. And we literally have no idea how many tambourines he's got through over the years!

But all of this takes a backseat when it comes to the music. Put simply, he has one of the most distinctive and powerful voices in rock and roll.

We have our favourite performances of his and we're sure you have yours too so why not crank them up and raise a glass to him!

That is funny. I saw Oasis once and thought the concert was pretty weak due to the stage presence of Liam. His voice is amazing, but I thought his condescending looks to the crowd and overall look of annoyance took away from the concert.

I fell asleep the fifth song into Oasis' set at the Across the Narrows festival in New York in 2005. I'm not saying the long day of sun and alcohol isn't mostly to blame, but I am saying Liam's presense didn't do much to keep me from NOT falling asleep.

  • Not only is Liam Gallagher a has-been drug addict narcissistic asshole, but his voice is annoying and nasally, and his presence as a front man could be duplicated by one of the zombie back-up dancers from the Thriller music video.

First off. I've seen PJ 11 times and Eddie 4 times. I've seen Oasis 3 times. I'm glad to say that in London, Ontario in 2008 I snuck up to the front row, and during one of his infamous "stare-downs" with audience members, Liam and I locked eyes. So I gratifyingly took the opportunity to give him the finger and repeatedly yell "F*CK YOU" until he looked away. PJ and Eddie for life.

At another show in Toronto in 2006 or 2007, Liam kept going back stage to sniff lines and keep his "high." A few of my very attractive lady friends got to go backstage after the show and they told me all he could do was bury his face in the mirror..chained to the mirror and the razorblade if you will.

He's a loser, and whoever wrote that article overlooked some great performers and insulted many other frontmen, including Eddie Vedder and Dave Grohl.

Besides, it's clear that Noel Gallagher is and always was the REAL talent of Oasis.
No need to be void,... or save up on life...
You got to spend it all.....

It's a sad day in rock and roll when no one even acknowledges Jimi Hendrix on a list like this. Not only was he a phenomenal frontman but he is the greatest guitar player who ever lived. No argument.
He who forgets will be destined to remember.
