This ignorant post is what I hate about far left stupid fucks. You think just because someone believes in God they are damaging the country? I'm not big into christianity but he has every right to say what he believes, and I agree with him. Holy shit, you are a fucking idiot. Continue believing all of the false promises that Obama is saying (Mccain is guilty of it too)..You will see what kind of man he is within the next couple of months. I'm done here though because this is not the politic forum.
EDIT: That is what is beautiful about this country though..You can say what you said and I can say what I said. If people like you and all of the other Far lefts don't get a grip, we won't have the rights like we have now.

I wont add any fluff to this. Many people that are religious are irresponsible with the life they live on earth. The whole idea that this is a temporary position and that eternal life awaits people is the single most damaging idea in the history of mankind. It allows people of all religions to do awful things. Once you empower a human with the idea that they have earned the right to live forever under the shadow of their own god, that human exploits that false power ends up justifying anything from greed to murder, to mass suffering and mass murder.

It happens with every culture and it is happening in ours now. Could you please explain what Far Lefts need a grip of? That was an irrational point, backed up by nothing and that goes nowhere......

Lookin at your signature, I'll bet GOD leads your political decisions? I'll take an end to all the religious right wing BS rants I hear in this Country...very damaging to this Country vs. anything Ed or anyone in the limelight could do.

God might be real and man is he/she/it pissed w/ f'in conservative redneck idiots! :)

War monger McCain wins and the US will continue to plummet towards implosion...luckily I live near Canada and can ditch before all our new enemies in the Middle East take the country over and our economy continues to dive.

Ed/Jill and Neil will probably have left for Canada also...we can hang.

Actually, I dont believe in God. My signature is kind of a joke.

Well put... its too bad that its so uncommon for people to embrace a religion or ethic without taking it beyond trying to do the right thing in the present...with no thought of what somehow lies beyond in some "heavenly place. Whether its a sucide bomber or someone bombing an abortion clinic...or making political pushes/decisions based on some certain religious morality...its all the same thing. The means to no end.

    I'd start walking your way
    You'd start walking mine
    We'd meet in the middle
    'Neath that old Georgia pine
We'd gain a lot of ground
'Cause we'd both give a little
And their ain't no road to long
When you meet in the middle

You are very good at complaining about a guy that isn't elected to represent you. Why would you pay for something that makes you feel so unrepresented? If Eddie paid money to go be part of the 'George Bush' experience and complained all the time, we would have a right to think he was a fool for subjecting himself to it. I think we have a right to proclaim you are fool for subjecting yourself to Pearl Jam. It's like buying a hooker but being upset about the crotch crickets. Even worse, what you do is buy the hooker, take the infestation back to your wife and show her.......

    BTY....you are a spelling Genious.

I enjoy their music, sorry. Did I boo at Uniondale when Eddie did his Bushleauger stunt, no. Did I throw shit at the stage, no. Did I leave, no. Did I agree with what he was saying, no. Do I think that it was probably a bad idea to bash the president in their 1st NY area appearance after 9/111, yes. He was standing in front of a crowd, who many knew someone who died that day (including myself) and he expected the crowd to go with him and his hatred of Bush?

But they are my favorite band, and I will go see them every chance I get.

oh sorry, if I spell a couple words wrong. I am typing while I am talking on a phone at work.

Reminds of a limerick I heard about arguing politics

One bright day in the middle of the night
Two dead boys got up to fight
Back to back they faced each other
Drew their swords and shot each other

A deaf policeman heard the noise
He came and shot the two dead boys.
If you don't believe this lie is true
Ask the blind man, he saw it too!

So just because 9/11 happened, we were required to bow down to the President and do whatever he says, no matter what? Fuck that. He's not my fucking king. And if more people had taken their heads out of their asses at the time, maybe we wouldn't have let him start a war that's claimed many more lives than were lost on 9/11.

Where did I say that? All I said was making youre first appearance in an area where many people lost people they knew, if not members of their family, wasnt the best place to go off on the president. He had to know it wasnt going to go over well.

  • the problem is most people have their heads up their ass as far as politics go so when Ed starts talking about the need for change these dumb zombie fucks are unable to comprehend what he is trying to say thus exposing their massive ignorance triggering them to become irate in defense, because of their own insecurities of feeling like a moronic dumbed down slob.

not that Ed has all the answers.

Obama suck just as much as McCain!

but at least he wants to promote getting involved & educated. he knows our freedoms are being attacked (and we may want to do something about it before it gets much worse.)

so to the asshole who wants to yell @ Ed for speaking out, you are the un-American dip shit that's too stupid to realize you need to be speaking out too!!

You do realize you could substitute Bush for Ed in that statement, and it would be as true.

Wow dude You just got owned.

He said you could sub Bush's name in there. Bush has done what he has stood up for and he didn't care how upset anyone got about it. So, by your definition..Bush is a patriot.
