I know a PJ board isnt the best place to defend Bush. I dont like him. I would not vote for him again. But I dont think he is personally trying to ruin this country. He is doing what he feels is the best course of action. And at least some people agree with him, since he was re-elected.

And I now realize I can not discuss this with you. If you really think Bush is waking up in the morning saying "what can I do today to help destroy this country" then you need help. If you really think that way why are you wasting time on PJ board? Go out and protest. Go and march in front of the White House. Do something.

The thing I remember most from those concerts was Eddie how and giving graceful support to the New Yorkers by saying he was so proud of how they handled themselves and then went into "I Am Mine"..... a song written after 9/11. What is so amazingly funny is that you (and everyone on the right) dont think any time or place is appropriate to 'go off' on the president, yet the minute Obama is President, you will say you have the freedom and right to question any and everything he says, does and breathes..... All I ask is if you are going to be blinded by your Nationalism, please be consistent!! We can work on patriotism later.....I know you are shocked, but, yes, they are two completely different things!

Ed isn't usually into any of the mainstream candidates because they are all in the pockets of corporations.
He is for Obama this time either A) Because he's been duped into thinking Obama is the non-corporate candidate or Because Obama is not Bush.
Even if Obama is elected, I can guarantee Ed will be bitching about him on the 2010 tour. I don't even mean this in a negative way. In our country, to get elected president, you have to make a whole bunch of promises you have no intention of keeping.
I honestly wonder if Ed would be into any other Democratic candidate ... I suppose we will never know for sure. I have my doubts, though.
