I was going to mention Megabus too. There is a route between Indy and Chicago too. Never taken it before so can't say what it's like, but I think it's cheap.1998 - Noblesville
2000 - Noblesville
2010 - Noblesville
2011 - EV solo St Louis, PJ20 Alpine Valley
2012 - San Fran (Oracle)
2013 - Wrigley, Pittsburgh, Buffalo
2014 - Cincy, St Louis, Detroit
2016 - Lexington, Wrigley
2018 - Wrigley
2022 - Nashville, St Louis
2024 - Noblesville, Wrigley
2025 - Nashville, Pittsburgh0 -
I had tentatively planned on going to Jazz Fest, but now that they're playing in KC 2 nights later, that's looking like the better option.
Jazz Fest
---
Pros: More Fun in the Quarter. Get to see a ton of bands
Cons: 2 hours of PJ songs max, $500 3 hour flight (minimum), far far worse hangovers due the depravity of the Quarter
KC
---
Pros: Cheaper, Quick Flight, Hotel right next to Sprint Center, 3 hours of PJ, My old home so I still have a ton of friends there, new P&L District surrounding the arena
Cons: No French Quarter and all the things that come with that place
---
Seems like a no-brainer to me. Might also try to get to Indy as well.~ Chicago 5/16/06 ~ Chicago 8/23/09 ~ Chicago 8/24/09 ~
~ Kansas City 5/3/10 ~ Alpine Valley 9/3/11 ~ Alpine Valley 9/4/11 ~
~ Wrigley Field 7/19/13 ~ Oklahoma City 11/16/13 ~ St. Louis 10/3/14 ~
~ Wrigley Field 8/20/16 ~ Wrigley Field 8/18/18 ~ Wrigley Field 8/20/18 ~
~ Fenway Park 9/4/18 ~ Denver 9/22/22 ~ Ft. Worth 9/12/23 ~ Wrigley Field 8/29/24 ~

Indiana only for me.....was thinking about KC and St. Louie but Im holding out for a posible Alpine/Wrigley deal in the fall. I can can hope.....0

Hopefully IN and either Columbus or Cleveland. Hell, all three if I get my way.
That is, if I can get a road trip partner. Waiting on a friend, who doesn't seem to appreciate that I need to know now!!
I'm going to look into Megabus, in the event I end up traveling alone (scary thought). Thanks, whomever, for the tip.0 -
I'm looking for someone to split tickets with for Cleveland. My 10C number is a 245xxx. Not great, but good enough to get me in about the front 1/3 to the middle of the floor at most shows.
I live in Plymouth, WI (hour north of Milwaukee). I already have plans to see Noblesville (and have someone to split tickets with for that show) and will be planning on driving from Noblesville to Toledo (little brother lives there) Sat, then doing the Cleveland show Sun. and going back to Toledo before I drive home on Mon.
If anyone wants to split tickets with me PM me.I won't change direction, and I won't change my mind - E.V.

I am looking to go to Indy and St. Louis
Indy will be a great show, much like the artist formerly known as the world music theater.
I am pumped for St.Louis, they always get great shows too.
only suckable thing is I have to drive back to Chicago after both shows, work one day, mother's day the other....I am going to be a basket case.0 -
I just saw how cheap Megabus is from chicago to cleveland and back! I may just have to go there Sunday AM, catch the show and leave on the 1am home! I don't have tickets for any of the shows, but was hoping to find someone with spares (and a better 10C # than my 337xxx)

Originally I was going to the Jazz Fest thinking it was my only chance to see them this year. Silly me.
I'm going to St. Louis- solo. I'd be more than happy to give anybody a lift down there.
Also going to Indy and possibly Columbus.
Soo stoked!0 -

That is quite an idea there...take the bus there and back the same night. I'm going to have to look into this.0 -
Been kind of a lifelong dream of mine to see Pearl Jam in Madison Square Garden. Finally gonna kick it off the bucket list....twice.

Last time I ventured out of Chicago area(not including Alpine or Milwaukee) was to see them in Grand Rapids for Vote for Change tour.
This time:

So I finalized my plans. Taking the Megabus to KC, then to stl and then home! Round trip was only $38. and KC to Stl was $5....
Have tickets for KC and Indy, just need to find a singleton for STL....Post edited by Alpine Bound on0 -
Decided to go to Indy. I may need one more 10C ticket (we have a third person who wants to join us now). Anybody got a spare to sell at face?0
