Keep the faith Europeans... if it's meant to be, you'll get there!

If you can't go, don't be disappointed as you're all probably going to multiple shows anyway!

you know what would have been nice to add to this announcement?

"More dates to follow, including dates in _________" (insert things like "west coast", "the south", etc).
so people dont spend every penny they have buying tickets/airfare/rental cars/hotel rooms getting across the country only to have dates announced in their neck of the woods next week.

I think you got a really good point. I really don't get this tour, you release a new album, you're suppose to promote it and tour off it properly. Somehow I suspect more shows in August, but why not just announce the whole tour at once.
This seems similar to the September/October tour. The reason there aren't that many dates is likely because of the Soundgarden reunion. What I don't get is why Pearl Jam couldn't have toured from January-March if they knew Soundgarden would start touring in August.

That very well could be, January-February-March they would have been able to to cover pretty much every region of the country and some of Canada. Soundgarden will be fun.

so giddy for BLACK KEYS and PEARL JAM on the same bill!

i really hope i dont get shut out of MSG I......i am really only planning on hitting one of the shows and I would rather see Black Keys > Band of Horses.

ive seen Band of Horses before and they are fantastic live. although it was a different lineup when i saw them. they are a five piece now...and im preety sure (its fuzzy) they were only a 2 or 3 piece when i saw them a few years ago.

    giddy up

    I'm happy.
I will hit CT and Boston.

Yup CT (close). No to Boston (at this time).

Will wait for a west coast or deep south leg.

    Better chance for good seats.
    Hold On

Saw the August 23rd show in Chicago (awesome show) before BackSpacer came out and they only played - Got Some, The Fixer and Supersonic. Will see them again in Columbus - May 6, and can't wait to see them play some more off of BackSpacer.

    Question:

Will there be a general "I need a ticket to this show" thread, or is it show specific, or how does it work exactly? This will be my first touring experience as a member of the forum.

I'd love a 10C ticket for Hartford but my number is super high (447xxx) and i'd like the chance to sit close just once.

yea, you just have to wing it not knowing if they'll expand the tour. I'll go to noblesvilles 2hrs south and I guess I'll do an overnight road trip to cleveland, haven't seen them there. I have the cash now to do both and in the event they come to chicago, maybe I'll get shut out or not have the cash.

I'm loving them all the time and SO want to see them everywhere I can, but I can't be a roadie/groupie, PJ makes me want to hollar with joy, but I must be logical. :~ I get to wear my county fair PJ shirt again!! whoo hoo I'm a dork!!
