just a quick update for ya. Chris & I wrapped up January with a bang by finishing up 3 new songs (Inside|Out, Rise & Fall, and Grown--which was just posted today!). thanks for all of the support & take a listen when you have a few minutes.

update:

Chris & I just found from a rep at the Library of Congress that our debut LP "Here We Are" has been copyrighted & that it's now a part of their archives!! What a trip!! We hope to have it on iTunes soon. BIG congrats to Chris & a BIG thank you to all of our friends, families & listeners!! cheers!!!

hey everyone!

just wanted to update you all on what's been going on! i received our (myself & Chris or 2-feign-reluctance on the board) copyright certificate for our first record, "Here We Are", today in the mail!!! the artwork is nearing completion & pretty soon it will be available on iTunes, AmazonMP3, and several other online digital music retailers! we want to thank all of you for your encouragement, comments & support!!! it's so cool that we met HERE....on this board and yet we haven't met in person!! that's all going to change in June when Chris & his wife come down to TX for a visit.

Hey guys! I really like your stuff and I LOVED Abbreviated. I'm in college right now studying music and have been worried that I might be too far behind behind skill-wise since I didn't get serious with it until the last year or so...So it was encouraging to read your bio and see you didn't really get started til college. Again, sounds great. Keep rockin'!

Matt and I are excited to announce that on Monday August 2, 2010 we will begin taking pre-orders for a physical CD copy of our debut album “Here We Are.” The cost will be $10 for a CD and we are looking at taking pre-orders for 2-3 weeks from August 2, 2010. If this date changes or time frame changes, we'll let you know immediately! The CD’s will be pressed in a limited run, so here’s how to snag your very own copy….

i've been buried with the semester wrapping up, so we've slowed down quite a bit. the clouds are finally starting to part, though! i've just finished mixing our next two songs--"On A Wire" & "Hoping For A Miracle" & they should be posted online very soon. these are two of my (recent) favorites & we're excited for everyone to hear them!

Songs from “Here We Are” are available individually for .99 cents or you can purchase the entire 13 song record for $6.99. The record will be on iTunes in the next 2-3 weeks and over the next 2-4 months will become available for download on 14 other online music retailers including Amazon, Rhapsody, and Zune to mention a few. We do plan on selling physical CD’s of “Here We Are.” We will be taking pre-paid orders for those. We will have that information coming very soon, so stay tuned!

Matt and I are both overwhelmingly excited about this event and hope you all share in our excitement. It took nearly 12 months for all the elements to come together in order for us to share “Here We Are” with not only you, our faithful supporters, friends and family, but hopefully new listeners all over the world! I know Matt would agree when I say that this day represents more than the completion of this record, but the start of a long musical journey that is so very special to us!
