    adding new songs regularly. we're doing these songs all over e-mail, exchanging files etc,. anybody else collaborate this way? lots of fun.

    just added another new one called "Hopefully Hoping" & i'm mixing the next one!!! it's safe to say that we've been busy!

    quick update: we've added another song called "Midnight" and i just finished mixing the next one ("The Color Burns") & it'll be going up today! 2 more are being mixed/recorded as i type this!

    I enjoyed Count Down a lot as well as Midnight, bit of a Mark Lanegan sound going on there which I really dig along with the lazy harmonica.

    Hi everybody

    Been awhile since there's been an update on the music Matt and I are doing. We are currently in the process of releasing 13 songs as an LP on iTunes in March 2010 tenatively titled "Here We Are." Matt's sister is working on the cover art and even creating a video to go with the song "Here We Are." We have submitted them for copyright as of early last month and are both very excited about the music that's come out of our complete 'e-collaboration.'

    You can hear the very latest 4 we just finished in December there and at www.myspace.com/presentlyfalling

    Matt and I have also picked up some really nice gear over the holidays that will be adding a new dimension to our work. Both of us got basses. I picked up a Fender Squier P-Bass and a Tascam USB interface device. Matt managed to find a Motu 828 mk2, a Fender Jazz Bass and a Djembe. One of our newest songs "Betting Man" features that drum on there.

    I like the new tunes. I'd say Go Home is a bit better than Stay, but that's just an opinion at first glance. Actually, I think the structure and sound of Stay is the better of the two, if you tune down the percussion a bit.... it's a little loud to my ears for a song that starts slowly.

    But, anyways... good stuff.... congrats.

    Hi all

    Thanks for all your feedback! We are doing all the recording, mixing, writing etc., etc., on our own with our own equipment and I think all the songs come across well given we're doing all the work! 8-)

    update:

    Chris & I just found from a rep at the Library of Congress that our debut LP "Here We Are" has been copyrighted & that it's now a part of their archives!! What a trip!! We hope to have it on iTunes soon. BIG congrats to Chris & a BIG thank you to all of our friends, families & listeners!! cheers!!!

    just wanted to update you all on what's been going on! i received our (myself & Chris or 2-feign-reluctance on the board) copyright certificate for our first record, "Here We Are", today in the mail!!! the artwork is nearing completion & pretty soon it will be available on iTunes, AmazonMP3, and several other online digital music retailers! we want to thank all of you for your encouragement, comments & support!!! it's so cool that we met HERE....on this board and yet we haven't met in person!! that's all going to change in June when Chris & his wife come down to TX for a visit.

    Hey guys! I really like your stuff and I LOVED Abbreviated. I'm in college right now studying music and have been worried that I might be too far behind behind skill-wise since I didn't get serious with it until the last year or so...So it was encouraging to read your bio and see you didn't really get started til college. Again, sounds great. Keep rockin'!

    Matt and I are excited to announce that on Monday August 2, 2010 we will begin taking pre-orders for a physical CD copy of our debut album “Here We Are.” The cost will be $10 for a CD and we are looking at taking pre-orders for 2-3 weeks from August 2, 2010. If this date changes or time frame changes, we'll let you know immediately! The CD’s will be pressed in a limited run, so here’s how to snag your very own copy….
