  • I love that cd. Does anybody know why the rest of their live recordings don't sound this good.

Is Jack Irons or Matt playing drums on G2F ? Whoever it is it's the best version IMO.

Ed's voice, to me, is just perfect. I love Ed's voice from the Yield era.

  • This is the album that put Pearl Jam from being ONE of my favorite bands to MY favorite band.

Had all the studio albums, but I was only like 15 and not really into live albums, bootlegs, et al. But my hometown radio station played a couple tracks from Live on Two Legs regularly and I remember hearing Small Town from that release right as I got to basketball practice one morning. Walked in the locker room and the entire freaking team was humming the song. I went out a day later and bought it.....on CASSETTE. It's still in my '93 Caprice that I drive to this day.

Love it and wonder if I'd have seen Pearl Jam 15 times live since if I hadn't have stumbled upon Live on Two Legs to hear just how good they were live.

pretty sure lo2l is from the US 98 shows when Matt took over. Jack gave it away after the pacific tour.
Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.

listened to it several times in the last couple weeks... unfortunately missed out on the vinyl on ebay that went for 80 bucks. still not a bad deal for the winner.

gtf (matts fill at about 1:53?), black, off he goes, mikes cord solo, UNTITLED... all epic.

that's one of my favorite drum fills period. I really wish g2f was played like 98 still. It actually had groove.

Haven't listened for a while to b honest!

Great album; great if it had been a double LP. It was like the band were testing the waters with it before deciding to release boots. Interesting song choice. Good choices though!

Interesting order the songs were placed in too! Doesn't really run like a set of theirs would.

Anyway I'm going to give it a spin later and load it to my iPOD.

PS is it true even flow was cut from two different performances???

    It is a double LP

And yes, Even Flow was two different performances spliced together

The solo in Black gives me chills & Nothingman is so nice to hear live. Would have loved it to be a double album though, so many songs to pick from. You cant always get what you want all time.

    One of my all-time fave live versions of Black is from L2L . . . . I agree . . . the solo is absolutely chilling . . .

I got this the day it came out. I love DTE and Red Mosquito on this album. This album is the reason why I love Do The Evolution so much. Great performance of Even flow, I love the way Stone and Mike trade licks towards the end.

ha ha i like that. nice!

1998 was an important year for me and my relationship with this band. it COMPLETELY solidified what i knew was true in 1996.

LIVE is where this band shines. LO2L is the perfect example.
