Great album; great if it had been a double LP. It was like the band were testing the waters with it before deciding to release boots. Interesting song choice. Good choices though!
Interesting order the songs were placed in too! Doesn't really run like a set of theirs would.
Anyway I'm going to give it a spin later and load it to my iPOD.
PS is it true even flow was cut from two different performances???
It is a double LP
And yes, Even Flow was two different performances spliced together

The solo in Black gives me chills & Nothingman is so nice to hear live. Would have loved it to be a double album though, so many songs to pick from. You cant always get what you want all time.
One of my all-time fave live versions of Black is from L2L . . . . I agree . . . the solo is absolutely chilling . . .

I got this the day it came out. I love DTE and Red Mosquito on this album. This album is the reason why I love Do The Evolution so much. Great performance of Even flow, I love the way Stone and Mike trade licks towards the end.

"Do the Evolution"
7/13/98, The Forum, Inglewood, California
"Do the Evolution" is actually also 'mixed' from two versions. If you listen to the Inglewood bootleg you can hear Eddie flub the lyrics about a minute and a half through (as he frequently does on this song ) and this is 'fixed' with another version on LO2L (not sure which though)

anyone remember the TV spot for live on 2 legs right before it came out? It's not on youtube anywhere. the music was the beginning or Corduroy. Something to the effect of x amount of cities, x amount of fans, etc.
wish i could find it somewhere for nostalgia

still no mention really except for one person of "Fuckin' Up" ...
That solo is just unreal. Mike actually captures the essence of Neil Young. HOW DO YOU DO THAT?!?

This is the live album I find myself revisiting the most. Daughter, Hail Hail, Red Mosquito, Off He Goes, DTE, Black and Fuckin Up are among my favorite versions.

Are you sure about this???
Think I originally meant I wish it had been a double CD as opposed to double LP
Strange that we don't have any 98 shows, right? Most/All of the shows would have been multitracked for LOTL? As a broader question, I don't understand why we have such comprehensive coverage of some tours and jack shit from others.

Isn't that my nickname??
ha ha i like that. nice!
1998 was an important year for me and my relationship with this band. it COMPLETELY solidified what i knew was true in 1996.
LIVE is where this band shines. LO2L is the perfect example.
Haha...I NEVER knew that!...BUT it's kinda "Weird"...at what point did they 'Splice' it together?
Mike nails it.
yes... when the US tour dates will be announced..
EV intro to Chloe Dancer / Crown of Thorns

if its live (official or not) I have to have the track / source list..
its just a thing with me...
can't stand to listen to a live version of anything and not know where its from..
I have that LO2L track/ source list taped inside the CD case..
how fanatical is THAT!
