    God you are talented..!

I bet you could design some kick ass PJ posters better than most of the Ames Brother collection..

would love to see your ideas for a PJ concert poster..

If google is correct, then it is a cross between the mythical creature unicorn and a panda or a bunny.

google is correct about the pandacorn (that fur patrol poster is my creation, though the panda on skates was slightly cooler in my opinion), but my bunnycorn is much cuter

(in my defense of the slightly crappy nature of those posters - i didnt even have a scanner.. i'd draw something, take a photo of it to get it into photoshop and then spend hours trying to clean it up til it was a decent outline..sigh.. i bet ames and klausen have some fancy ass tools at their disposal)

No reason they cant have a contest and let a few fans design some posters next tour..we could vote the ones we like in, PJ gets final say plus they pick the cities where they get released.

Wish I could draw I'd enter it myself lol
Ten Club # 433608, when I am 80 I will be in the front row!

That would be sweet. Some people here are a lot more talented than some of the artists' PJ already uses...

  • That's awesome Hoff. Sick drum kit as well. How many are professionally framed? Did you frame them yourself?

Sure! Though, Virginia is a bit of a drive from Mass. I used to live in NY though, which you probably know from my "gardening" thread. :D

Thanks. :) I wanted to keep them pretty simple, so each I gave the same frame, but different matting, so they would look like a collection, but have something unique for each one.

If you want to see a horribly lit tour of my drum room posters, narrated by yours-truly in an extremely boring voice... then click here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eck_2__Awow This is a good video to show crying infants, as it would help bore them to sleep. :D

  • i've posted my poster wall before, but it's been awhile:

    PearlJamposters2009.jpg

i now have the happy problem of too many posters and no place for em! i already have 3 others framed propped up elsewhere in the same room (methane 2006 tour, ev solo evilkinevil and the vfc movie poster), and i have my 2 philly posters still in tubes. someday i hope to expand my display space, but for now...this is it.

i really like the little shelves you have the frames resting on...i have a similar system for my Michael Jordan plates...but that's sweet with the posters....not as many holes in your wall and you can rearrange them as often as you like with not much hassle...very cool!!...i may have to steal this idea from you!....i know you don't mind!:mrgreen:
  • Ive decided to do the same with my new place. I have like 60 posters all in those shitty michaels frames and thats a cool way of maximizing space. The dozen or so that are professionally framed go elsewhere.

This thread is awesome. I just wanted to say that.

Got this one on the weekend too. A couple of slight imperfections, but I'm still happy. Been storing this one since 2003.

The 2003 one is higher on the wall. It matches the height of batman one. Which is to its left. Seperated by a small window.
