I'm curious how many performances with guests others here have seen live.

PJ never played with Liam Finn in D.C. Ed did at his solo show later in July, but definitely not at the PJ concert. I was at both.

I was including individual members of the band in my list. LF & EJ did some songs with Ed at his first solo show in DC that I was at.

a whole bunch of other bands at Bonaroo

But the only artist I know any member of the band performed with on stage at Bonnaroo was Jack Johnson when Ed joined him for Constellations. I was asking about them being on stage with another artist for a song, not just being an opener.

I've seen 8 shows in europe and the only guests i've seen are...

Ronnie Wood - Sheperds Bush 09
Ed with Kings Of Leon (Slow Night So Long) - Werchter 07
The south american fan who came onstage in Dusseldorf, does he count? :)

For 48 shows that is a HUGE number of guest performers to see, you lucky bastards in america always get the guests!! The openers hardly ever are invited back onstage in europe, dont know why!

At the first Sydney show in 2003, Betchadupa (A.k.A. Liam Finn, in a previous life ) were the first support act that night, and Ed did his solo thing right before their set. Can that be considered the first time Ed and Liam performed on stage together? :D

I'm not just talking about openers here. I'd have quite a few more to add for that list. This is just about the artists who have been onstage performing with Pearl Jam. I remember DCFC and Gob Roberts opening those shows, but I don't think they did any songs with members of PJ.

Tim Robbins played X's "The New World" with PJ. So there.

Here are a few I saw live and in person.
Ace Frehley on stage with the boys in Atlantic City.
Sleater Kinney did Leaving Here with them at that show too?
Ann/Nancy Wilson / Presidents of the USA All along the Watchtower NW School benefit show
My favorite might be the Robert Plant - "Given to Fly in to Going to California"- Chicago Katrina Relief show.
Fool in the rain was crazy- First time I think Plant played that song live ever?
w/ Ben Harper Indifference at the Vic.
Saw Ed sing with the Rolling Stones in Pittsburgh and of course
w/ U2 in Hawaii and w/ Tom Petty MKE & StP.

    Pretty sweet run of luck!
  • saw Ed sing along with Tom Petty and the heartbeakers - American Girl - 2 nights in a row in St. Paul 06
