Ok, am I allowed to sqqwwweeeeeee!!!

    I am excited already!!
I have a Glastonbury ticket if they play there, there will be some on sale in March as well but would love a PJ gig rather than a festival performance, but hey, I'll take anything....maybe Reading/Leeds again???
Maybe instead of going to Oz for a few weeks next year, I'll do a tour of Europe.

oh Aus holiday or two weeks in europe following PJ??

thats tough, Pj would win it for euro, but only just, Australia is one hell of a place to go

Yeah, I got relatives who live near Newcastle and one of my best friends is working in Oz at the minute and will be around Melbourne in spring (he's in Perth at the minute). He's asked me to go out and spend a few weeks over there with him in March/April time. So I have been saving money, but he's not sure exactly where he's going to be as yet and if he's working then I'll not see huge amounts of him, plus work are not overly keen on me having time off at financial year end seems I do the perfomance management submissions to government.
    Decisions, decisions!!!

and hey rita......maybe someone over in europe will have a contest for you to win a free trip to NY to see pj, and everyone outside of europe will be excluded? :D

That would be very cool.... New York... even without PJ - free tix and hotel to NY!

I'm NOT driving when going to see PJ! At least not a car - a train maybe, or a bus, or a bike...OK, no good idea, I won't be there until the end of the tour...

As long as it isn't Glastonbury seen as I don't have tickets  :P
but I do  (haven't been since 95!) ..and T in the Park too :P

now Glastonbury on Friday and Hard Rock Calling (that's in Hyde Park for the non-londoners) on Sunday would be perfect, then couple of UK gigs (Manchester?) then T in the Park/Oxygen the following weekend.. how does that sound? ;)

and gigs/festivals in the rest of Europe of course.. fingers crossed for Scandinavia.. those guys are WAY overdue! (and if they don't set foot in Italy I'll be happy too!)

now it's interesting that the winner is chosen as early as January.. that'd be a nice change to be able to plan more than 2 months in advance!! (unlike this year)

    So, European festivals?

Download? I really don't think so. Pearl Jam are not alternative enough for it. For UK, definitely more Reading/Leeds. There's all the usual ones, most of which they have played before and that have been previously mentioned - Pinkpop, Rock am Ring/Im Park (only Rammstein announced, them and PJ? REALLY?), NovaRock, Pukklepop, Sziget, Oxegen, Roskilde, T in the Park, Benicassim...

If a 'festival' type gig, Hard Rock Calling is a good one. Small.....

Jenny... don't see them at Download either (though Download could be very exciting next year). I'm still thinking that festie-wise Glasto may be an option (because of the anniversary and when you think of the bands/artist playing there), Roskilde, Pinkpop.... Damn... just give us another SBE!
