PEARL JAM’S US SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

The following Sweepstakes is intended for play in the United States only and shall only be construed and evaluated according to the United States law. Do not enter this Sweepstakes if you are not located in the United States at the time of entry.

1. HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES

The Pearl Jam US Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") will begin on 11/20/2009 at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET") and will end on 01/04/2010 at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET"). All entries must be received between 11/20/2009 at 12:00:01 AM ET and 01/04/2010 at 11:59:59 PM ET ("Entry Period").

Visit http://www.cbsradio.com/contests/pearljam during the Entry Period and enter the Sweepstakes by following the online instructions. Entrants will be required to submit their first and last names, complete address, city, state, ZIP code, telephone number, date of birth, and a valid email address in the online entry form. Only one (1) internet entry per person and per email address. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning the email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. All entries submitted become the sole property of the CBS Interactive Music Group (the "Administrator") and will not be acknowledged or returned. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited. The Administrator reserves the right to void all online entries made through any robotic, automatic, mechanical, programmed, or similar entry duplication method and to disqualify any individual using such a method. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by the Administrator. The Administrator's computer is the official time keeping device for the Sweepstakes. The Administrator is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological problems.

Only entries submitted during the Entry Period will be included in the Sweepstakes random drawings. Entries submitted after the Entry Period will not be eligible for the Sweepstakes drawing.
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

The Sweepstakes is open to U.S. residents, age 18 or older who are residents of all 50 states. All employees of the Administrator, its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated entities, advertising and promotional agencies, participating sponsors and the members of their immediate families (mother, father, step-mother, step-father, siblings, children, and spouse) or households are ineligible to participate or win.

Only one winner per household is permitted in the Sweepstakes. Prizes will be awarded pending verification of eligibility.

Entrants are required to provide truthful information and the Administrator will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Administrator and Sponsor will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Administrator and Sponsor will also delete any entry knowingly received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
3. PRIZES

One (1) Prize: a trip for two (2) for winner and guest (over 18) to a location TBD, from date TBD to date TBD to see Pearl Jam perform on their upcoming 2010 tour. Trip will include round-trip coach class airfare for two (2) persons departing from the major U.S. airport nearest to winner's home (as determined by Administrator), (TBD night duration) night standard double occupancy hotel accommodations (one room) or camping passes depending on if this is a festival date. Two (2) VIP tickets to attend the performance on date TBD, 2010, venue and VIP details are TBD based on concert date. Approximate Retail Value: $4,000.00, but will vary depending on travel origination and fares in effect at the time of departure. Certain travel restrictions may apply. Travel arrangements must be made through Administrator's designee or agent on a carrier of Administrator's choice. No prize substitutions, cash equivalent, or transfer of prizes permitted except at the sole discretion of the Administrator. Prize subject to availability and the Administrator reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to award a prize of greater or equal value if the advertised prize is unavailable. If winner cannot travel on dates specified by the Administrator, winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. All other costs not specifically stated herein, including, but not limited to, taxes, meals, tips and ground transportation, are the responsibility of the winner. Taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner. Winner and travel companion must travel on the same itinerary and are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents including passports. In addition, travel companion of Winner must be 18 years of age or older. Winner and travel companion are responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) where applicable, at their option, and hereby acknowledge that the Administrator has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. Winner and travel companion must sign a Publicity, Liability Waiver and Travel Release form prior to traveling. If a selected event is unable to take place as scheduled, for reasons such as cancellation, preemption, postponement or unavailability, or for any reason beyond the control of the Administrator, the Administrator's sole responsibility to a Winner will be to award the remaining available portion of the prize and no substitution will be provided for unawarded portion of prize. Tickets are subject to terms and conditions as specified by issuer. Seat locations to be determined by the Administrator. The Administrator reserves the right to remove or to deny entry to winner and/or guest if he/she engages in a disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the concert.

In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.

There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that the Administrator and Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
4. SELECTION OF WINNERS

Decisions of the Administrator with respect to the Sweepstakes are final.

On 01/07/2010 at approximately [INSERT TIME] ET, the Administrator will select one (1) potential winner in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received.

Only one (1) trip will be awarded.

Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of entries received in during the Entry Period in each market. The Winner need not be present or listening to win. Potential winners will be notified via email and phone on or around 01/07/2010. All prizes or prize certificates will be mailed to winners at the address provided, upon completion of the Sweepstakes. The administrator is not held liable for lost or stolen mail. Potential winners will be required to execute and return a required Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Release of Publicity/Liability Prize Acceptance Form within ten (10) business days of winning or prize will be forfeited and an alternate Winner may be randomly selected. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the required affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within the required time period, or if a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize.
5. CONDITIONS

Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner. The winner will be required to complete and submit an IRS Form W-9 with the winner's full Social Security Number or the equivalent for receipt of any prize valued at $600 or more or for any prizes awarded by the Administrator in a calendar year with an aggregate value of $600 or more. Failure to submit a complete W-9 or equivalent will result in forfeiture of the prize. Such winnings of $600 or more will be reported to the IRS.

By participating in the Sweepstakes, the winner agrees to have the winner's name, voice and likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to the Sweepstakes without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.

Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Administrator, in its sole discretion, may require Sweepstakes winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold CBS Interactive Music Group, Administrator and each of their parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the Sweepstakes.

The Administrator, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Administrator website or is otherwise in violation of the rules. Administrator further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Sweepstakes if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.

If for any reason this Sweepstakes cannot be executed as planned, including, but not limited to, as a result of infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Administrator that corrupt or affect the security, administration, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, or if the Sweepstakes is compromised or becomes technically corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, the Administrator reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Sweepstakes. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the original end date, the Administrator will select the winners by random drawing from among all eligible non-suspect entries received as of the termination time/date.

The Administrator, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Administrator's website. Failure to comply with the rules of the Sweepstakes may result in a contestant's disqualification and/or forfeiture of any prize or prizes. If the Administrator makes a good faith determination that an entrant has cheated or committed fraudulent activity in connection with a Sweepstakes, the Administrator reserves the right to disqualify that entrant from entering and/or winning future Sweepstakes and to prosecute and seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The Administrator reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Administrator, any competition or prize-related event or travel is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Administrator and Sponsor reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

The Administrator is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of a prize.

6. INTERNET SWEEPSTAKES PRIVACY POLICY

By use of the Administrator and Sponsor's website or by entering the Sweepstakes through the Administrator website, you agree to the website's Terms of Use Agreement located at survey.cbsradio.com/cotton and to the use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy located at www.last.fm/discover.

the fact U2 are playing too makes this a real possibility.

i cant qualify why i think that, it just makes sense in my simple head.

this would be disastrous as I really dont wanna have to endure 4 days of the festival just to see PJ. i fell out with Glasto in 2004, when the festival lost its identity, but thats just me. I'm getting old, and I liked it how it was.

Please PJ lets have PJ shows, and not flaming festivals....
