Is anyone else trying to decide between a West coast Eddie solo swing and Bonaroo madness?
I've never been to a festival and never seen Ed solo. Will he likely stick to ITW, what else does he play?
Any info about the Bonarroo experience also appreciated as well.

This sounds like a great show! I love Liam Finn's solo music and a chance to see Ed and all, but holy fuck $65 is a lot of money. To see the whole band lately, it hasn't been that much; I wonder if the next Pearl Jam ticket prices will be going up??

totally out of the cards for me...west coast....tax season....impossible. probably just as well on the timing b/c i WOULD otherwise contemplate it, but i am far better off waiting and hoping for that fabled show(s) in NYC area in june or july. so i wish everyone who wants tix gets em...have a BLAST! :cool:

I looked at the different venues- a little sad that he won't be playing in Wa/Or, but all the theaters sound great- & it is in between qtrs so I won't even have to skip school!

The tix price are high- but I hope there is a tight lid on scalpers cause while I really have to go- & airfare/hotel will add obviously even more- I will be steamed to see scalpers making money.
( what was another big ouch was the charge that ticketmaster added to Matt's fundraiser at the Showbox- something like 1/3 of ticket price)
I think this is a good way to get more publicity for the West Memphis Three & good for Ed, for sticking with them. I wish I could help & get a ticket through the auction- but what an expensive way to see a show. Not in this lifetime.
I saw the Police and Elvis Costello are playing the Gorge- tickets will be really high- I would love to see that show- but I feel like I am being pecked to death by ducks.
Considering where I got to stand for the Pearl Jam Gorge shows- I am so spoiled!

i just got up myself.....i'm gonna try for both la shows and sb....then it's a toss up...do i go north to berkely or the final show in ed's hometown.......this is a good problem to have....:o

that's a lovely decision to have to make! i am beyond excited about the berkeley show, i can WALK to the venue after work, it's *right there*! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee lol

Both LA & Santa Barbara nights i'm gonna be purchasing this Monday. The other show's are more then 6 hours away from my relatives in Glendale. Won't be able to make them.

they charge $15-$20 cover charge.....
Mr. Vedder is one of the greatest "songwriters" of his generation....right???
$65 seems like a reasonable price.....
not saying it wouldn't be worth it... but just cause you CAN charge a certain price doesn't mean that you SHOULD. i guess that's what i'm trying to say.

I thought the same thing. I mean the Vic was a small venue, hot ticket and that was $75.
