Best (and basically only) rock club in the city. The Brides used to tear that place up on a regular basis. Some great memories there. Fu Manchu, Soledad Brothers, The Datsuns, plus tons of local punk and metal, plus cheap PBR's.
Oh yeah that saw the Datsuns there a few days after Dimebag Darrell died. They put on a great live show. I know they opened up for the Pixies a few days before that and some didn't like them. I think they play better in a small venue. Also saw them at the TLA about a year before that. They also have some kick ass opening bands. The Ditbombs opened up for them at the TLA and my one buddy and i were hooked on them and at the Khyber a band called Bad Wizard opened up for them.8/28/98- Camden, NJ

Thanks to both of you for enlivening this thread, and for educating this PJ fundamentalist on some seemingly cool bands. I'll have to check them out.eeriepadave wrote:porchmonkey77 wrote:eeriepadave wrote:I can't make it either, already going to another concert at the Note in WC. I've had enough, said enough, felt enough. I'm fine, still in it.0 -
