    haha ok. Even if lil wayne is super cool and super talented it doesn't mean it would be good to have him with pearl jam. Thats like people who put loads of toppings on a food just because they like them individually.

    idk what i mean...like if he played a show with them at a festival, or if he did something with the band in the studio...idk i just love weezy

    not a good combo. i hate rap and could never listen to it, BUT i could appreciate rap artists like nas, ghostface, biggie smalls, tupac, etc .. i could NEVER listen to them and enjoy their music, but i think they wrote great stuff beyond just drugs girls and fuckin dancing.

    i'm sorry, but i find no great talent in lil wayne.

    I like lots of rap artists like Mos Def, The Roots, etc. but "lil" wayne? no thanks.

    If the singer's name contains 'Lil' in it... it normally translates to 'Big Piece Of Shit'. (ref. Li' Kim, Lil Bow Wow, Li' Romeo, et. al.)

    Pearl Jam is my favorite band bar none but I love hip-hop, too. I don't listen to shitty hip-hop. I like the kind of hip-hop that stays fresh in a musical context. Most rappers take the song that becomes a hit and try to make whole albums around that "feeling", becoming repetitious and bland in the process.

    Lil' Wayne does not. Tupac, Biggie, Atmosphere, Flobots, Wu-Tang Clan, Mos Def, The Roots do not. There are more.

    I personally think people should try to expand their horizons.
