Idiots annoy me. They should be vetted before going into a gig. Went to see the Airborne Toxic Event the other night at Shepherd's Bush (ahhh the memories of that sweet August eve...), who were excellent and I do reccomend you see them live, and they were playing a few tracks which weren't off the album, went acustic and it was exceptional. There were loads of people talking and the singer, to his credit said "for those of you who are talking at the back we will play the fucking radio song later" and then there was hush.

And the guy who thinks backspacer is a joke is a little delusional, I think it's the best album I have heard since Muse's Black Holes and Revelations.

I had the same problem night 4 with these two tools sitting next to me in section 205. When this guy wasn't yelling for "Tremor Christ", which I politely told him they played the previous night, the other was yelling for Eddie to shut up and play and when he discussed the Flyers' role in the history of the building, he was yelling that the Flyers sucked and yelling "Go Penguins". Really annoying guy, who if he was playing hockey would have been thrown into the boards numerous times.

I witnessed the worst moment of this to date in my concert career last week at the Ray Lamontagne show. He was playing at the BEAUTIFUL Wang Theater in Boston. If you've ever seen him live, you know that he can mumble and tell sometimes rambling stories in between songs. Well, the place was perfectly quiet w/ everyone trying to listen to him tell a story, when some absolute dipsh*t guy yells out "SERIOUSLY? F*** THE YANKEES!" (verbatim). It could not have been more inappropriate. Dude...you're not leaving a Celtics game and this isn't the intermission at a Kiss concert. This is a solo singer-songwriter in a beautiful and small venue. There were a couple of nervous little half-chuckles but mostly a broad array of gasps. Even the hardcore Red Sox fans in attendance were horrified. Sure, there was a World Series game going on at the same time (that would eventually end in the Yankees winning the World Series...a thought that makes me, a Mets fan, cringe), but for the love of god man...get a life!

sounds like every Ed solo show that i went to.....if the fucking morons can't handle their booze then they shouldn't drink...unless it's a sober asshole, which is even worse because they have no excuse..they are just assholes naturally!!

I agree with this sentiment completely, but I keep it to myself in their house (or their old house). I can understand and respect the importance of the building and the history to the local fans.

This coming from a MASSHOLE, LOL!

There are fans of the Penguins that aren't necessarily from Pittsburgh, as I'm sure not all fans of many other sports teams including the Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriot fans are all from the Boston area. I for one am a fan of the latter one and have seen the big green monster several times and guess where I live?

derp, you were right about the 2nd baltimore ev show. my son and i were in the next to last row center people were yelling stuff all night, at least eddie was able to pull of ARC, most place effed it up by yelling out from what i've heard. best was lady behind us says her son is the biggest pearl jam fan and she didn't want him to miss ev solo she came cause he didn't big cities,he comes up and he was in his thirties.then he kept yelling eddie is god etc. we were giving him looks and asked if he could lighten up,no dice finally huge guy next to us told him to shut up, which pissed mom off something bad. he shut up
