Time to Start Thinking About the 2009 Holiday Single

For some reason, I started thinking about the 2009 holiday single. Like most people, I would like the A-side to be a new song. For the B-side, I would actually like to see a groovy, studio-version cover song.

I would like to see Pearl Jam cover R.E.M.'s "Finest Worksong," and in a perfect world, R.E.M. would cover a Pearl Jam song on their annual single. Perhaps "Wishlist."

    no reason to think about this now, easter is far away, and the more likely memorial day is even farther away

    we have plenty of time to think and wait on it .. my guess is we should get it around may 2010 :mrgreen:

    The band was pretty good about getting the 2007 single out. I got it right around Christmas if I recall correctly.

    I don't want to get excited about the x-mas single just yet since it won't be arriving in my mailbox until Spring or Summer.

    It would be great to open it up and spin it on Christmas morning.To bad we won't get it until March 3 2010.
