    Not trying to sound like I am painting you all with the same brush.
    I am just cautious now after what happened and reading how this guy is hell bent on getting 10c tickets.

    Sorry to the guy who wants my ticket if I cause offence, I am just being safe.

    Hey mate, I travelled to LA and had a pair of 10c tickets for night 4 and was hell bent on a swap for night 3 with 10c tickets. There is something extra special to be seated with other fan club members who appreciate the band on the same level. I ended up at show 3 and 4 due to international good will between 10c members. Just remember, there are more good people here than douchebags. I'm sure if the guy turns out to be the later you'll have no problems at all getting rid of the ticket at the venue.

    have to agree with that one - it's too easy to get caught out - NOT that all Canadians, or Aussies, or Americans are all the same.....BUT.....what if it was that person?? Couldn't the person who wants your ticket just send you a photo or some kind of proof that it's NOT him? And then you would feel comfortable trading your ticket? :?

    The only way you can be sure it's not the same asshat is to see a pict and what are the chances he would send you one of him ,you could sell it to him and once you see him & you realize it's the asshole from Canada then you can punch hi's lights out on behalf of Cynthia we would all be greatful here in USA .... :lol::lol:

    i'm a canuck and i am by no means offended by your concern ... i would ask this person flat out if they were near the front at philly and was the guy who assaulted another fan over a wine bottle - if he isn't, he will for sure sympathize and not be offended ... if he is, he'll likely say he wasn't but he can't make it anymore ...

    Wow, I thought your biggest concern about selling to someone from Canada would be that the person may not be able to make it and there would be issues with refunds or getting rid of the ticket, not that there is a one in 15 million chance that this is the same douche from Philly. This person wants to travel across the globe to see PJ, give the person some credit for that.

    Anyways, unfortunately I've had a horrible experience with a pj fan, but I decided not to let it affect my pj experience. I've bought a few tickets from people I didn't know from the board, and what we always do is exchange info and pics of each other right off the bat so we know who we're dealing with and we keep in contact regularly until show time.

    i agree. just cause it's a canadian pearl jam fan looking for help, you think he/she is that person who assaulted the girl in philly? i know the woman who got assualt. and a few friends on facebook seen that fuck @ the parties. also heard somebody somebody saved his cellphone number. seeing you are not trusting any canadian cause of this, is pretty lame & dumb. i'm sad you think all canadian's are bad & evil. i'm sorry, but you are very wrong. very, VERY wrong!

    it's not 1 in 15 million ... how many active 10C members are there? ... 300,000 max? ... and how many are from canada? ... 30,000? ... edit: and how many of these members were in philly? ... 300? ... odds are not as astronomical ... the person of concern has done a lot of traveling to see the band ...

    as for some of my sensitive fellow canucks - i don't think the OP is painting a wide brush that all Canadians are like this guy otherwise he/she wouldn't sell the ticket ... this person has a history of violence and assault - ensuring your safety in a transaction like this is more than reasonable ... don't get your backs up for no reason ...

    lol, i should have known the 1 in 15 million would get the focus instead of the actual point I wanted to make which is just exchange pics and info with the person. After getting info from the person then ask around the community if this person is trusted.

    I know exactly what the OP is on about, no matter where people come from there is always a risk of being shat on. I've got spare tix aswell and am trying to sell them through people I know rather than dealing with strangers. No reason to turn this Thread into another shit-fight.
