haven't heard the ATDI album yet - good? i haven't listened to shihad since before their temporary name-change for the purposes of placating americans whilst on tour - they were good at homebake when i saw them back in about ?1998? how great is superunknown - still gets me going. and bowie - brilliant. i also haven't heard any nick drake at all or the decemberists' album - i'm going to check em out now though. and if they're shit then i'll know where to point the finger of blame nah, it's all good buddy - feels like bearing your soul a bit when you mention other bands and artists on here hey, just waiting for people to heap shit on your musical tastes.
and shit - well done on being an auntie! i'm sure you'll be a great influence on him. i like dustin as a name too - you don't see too many of those. tell mum congrats!

yeah, gurg rock, picked up the hamburger EP in about 94/95 not really knowing much about them, and got mind fucked. it was the shit. loved tu plang, unit and i really loved...Art, which i don't think many digged on. but i haven't got their latest one.

did you see when they recorded mish mash in the bubble for foxtel, that was fucking awesome.

Someone told me The Decemberists were doing a few side shows in Sydney and Melbourne. That would be great.

the bubble was a pretty wicked concept - no way could i work under that pressure. geez, i can't even write decent songs outside of a bubble!

jabba had a complete fucking break down in that bubble. it was not long after that he left channel V, i think regurgitator broke him.
