Is it very rainy in Auck or Chch during late November? What temperatures should I expect?

One of my best mates Pete who is coming to the two NZ shows with me just left yesterday and is in Wellington now and he said he thinks this morning was the coldest he's ever felt! What temperature is it there now, Death Monkey?

it's like.. 8 degrees right now BUT in our defensive this is REALLY unusual and it's a polar blast. it's supposed to be a bit better this weekend but this spring's weather has been SHIT.

summer starts in december. auckland is warmer than wellington. i think christchurch gets pretty hot too... .but not by QLD standards.
