    and my weekend begins...... 8-)
    nothing too special planned. may dye my hair tomorrow, clean the bathroom (ooooh, how exciting! :P)...relax....do some laundry. hope the weather is fab on sunday b/c mr. dream and i are planning a hike in caumsett state park 8-) ....but wooohooooo! yes! weekend is pure bliss just for being the weekend!

    that i have to find a new place to stay....that my landlady just insulted me and acted like a complete freak....that i'm scared that she wants me to pay for the most ridiculous reasons...that I never have encountered a situation like this......

    i wish i wasn't so distracted by my love life becos i really need to be more focused on doing well in my professional life.

    literally just left a meeting where i was told i shouldn't be seeing my ex cause my work i sufferring. it's really just a coincidence.. i swear.

    (i work with family so they're allowed such opinions..i guess)

    i'm thinking, i work for the coolest partners. either that, being so concerned for my well-being, or...thinking how unnecessary i am and will can my ass in any case. :?


    errrr....seriously, i am thinking (hoping) it's true concern. i've been sick as a dog since last tuesday, came in late 2 hours wednesday and thursday b/c there was a looming deadline thursday (tho all work was 99.5% done) that i didn't want to miss, and called out friday and today. had full intentions of returning tomorrow, until i got an e-mail from one of our partners telling me she spoke with our senior partner, and to not rush myself, they appreciate my concerns but to take care of myself and if i had any work weighing on me, to let her know and she would set up coverage. i thanked her, said alrighty, i'll take another day and return wednesday. she told me she was glad to hear it, recover, and to not hesitate to take more time if i need it. it is a slow period now, but none the less, made me feel valued. (she also made a nice donation to the breast cancer walk, which i didn't even manage to do this weekend) so i just thought, how cool! i am soooo uded to being abused/pressured when out sick, that this is quite nice. obviously, i assume they appreciate me making sure i was in when possibly needed, which was my plan - haha, but i appreciate being told to take care of me. now as long as i still have my job in a year's time...all good. :) so one more day home!
