oh wow! how cool!JB100356 wrote:I was the dude wearing the "Equalizer" shirt (glows and flows to the beat of the music) in the 11th row!! I was then brought over to the sound booth (while Ben was playing) and there stands Eddie Vedder (in disguise)!!! He shoke my hand and asked me where I got it. He wanted it and I said I would give it to him after the show. It never happened and I should of set it up better but man...I was stunned. Anyway I hugged him and he slipped a guitar pick in my pocket. If somehow Eddie reads this (doubt it) then let him know that I will give him the shirt!!!!!!! Best show ever!!!!!!!!!!!
eddie's the man
speaking of security guards, another thing to add to the show was how cool the security guards were. at least the one in front of me, joked around with us the whole show and was singing along!

I have been to 12 shows (i know not crazy amounts....but enough) and this was THE best show i have been to for band energy, crowd energy and just overall concert experience. I also went to seattle 2 (dream setlist) and portland (mix between the two)
Unreal.

So it's taken me awhile to write, but I'll share our story of Friday night in Vancouver. My husband and I were looking forward to our four night mini tour of Pearl Jam starting in Seattel. We had two fantastic nights there, home for two nights, then back to Vancouver for my hometown show. We decided to take our kids to this one (age 11 and 9), as they like the band, and I'd feel less guilty if I did 6 shows (in total) this year without them. So we actually secured a pair of really good seats through TM, and then of course had our 10c tix for the other pair. I was expecting our regular seats, around row 12, for our Vancouver show. Turns out we got 5th row, dead centre! I was stunned and so excited. We agreed my husband and son would get the first hour of PJ on the floor, and my daughter and I would get the rest of the show. We warned everyone around us there would be a quick exchange around that time. The energy that night in all of the venue was amazing. Everyone was so into it, even in the non 10c section. The band was on fire, and the setlist, so awesome. Just look at the first five songs of encore one! =:0
I made my daughter wear big yellow headphones, because she doesn't really put the earplugs in right. She stood on the seat once on the floor, and how exciting to look up and there was Ed, right in front of us, busting out on No Way. (Which btw, I LOVE is in rotation.). A song or so later during RVM, Ed looks up, and notices Molly there, I think she was waving at him, cuz he kind of looked like “Hey where did you come from?”, and gave her that crazy bugged out eyeball look, then smiled, and broke his rhythm of guitar to give a quick wave. After this they kept having these little exchanges, which was just lovely to witness. And then at the end with the house lights on during YL, the motion of headphones, and then everyone in the first four rows graciously handing back the pick to her, well, that was unforgettable. Thanks to everyone around us and to the band who made this show so special for all of us. Cheers! Lisa
PS: If anyone by chance has any pictures of Molly, could you let me know? I only took one, and it's kind of blurry.0 -

            Incredible Show!!!!!!!!
Thank you Pearl Jam and Thank you Ten Club, 7th row was absolutely amazing. This was my tenth show i've seen and it is easily my favorite. Great setlist, the band was on fire, the crowd was wild and i got to experience it all with my beautiful wife beside me. I will never forget how awesome Seattle 1 and 2 were and to follow that up with an epic show in Vancouver, WOW. Can't wait for the bootlegs." Things were different then, all is different now "

Did they have a Pearl Jam Canucks shirt at the show?
Yup..they were sweet...I assume they sold out, I went to 2 kiosks and they didn't have any. if anyone knows how and where I could get one, that would be sweet.0 -

Such a great story, love hearing this type of stuff!
Just watched some video from Youtube and WOW was LROM INTENSE. Ed's voice was amazing during that tuen, I still remeber how freaking intense he looked while singing. This one dude on Youtube I believe has every song on video, looks to be slowly uploading 2-3 day.
Still cannot get this show off my mind.......0 -

the guy we want to make the DVD is magmazing on youtube. he has every song but three: unthought know (security caught him), grievance (couldnt change the batteries quick enough) and breath (pressed record, but didnt. he dropped the ball on that one)
he is in touch with some people from youtube to get their raw files of these songs to complete the dvd version. ive sent him pictures of the canucks shirt, the setlist and the poster, to make the dvd as accurate as possible. he's a good guy it seems. all the footage he took is HD, super high quality. he went to film/radio school. our show is in good hands. he says he will make a torrent. aiming for december. cant wait to own this one. can you see my flag during LROM? i held it up during the choruses. amazing version of that song indeed.Van '98, Sea I+II '00, Sea '01, Sea II '02, Van '03, Gorge, Van, Cal, Edm '05, Bos I+II, Phi I+II, DC, SF II+III, Port, Gorge I+II '06, DC, NY I+II '08, Sea I+II, Van, Ridge , LA III+IV' 09, Indy '10, Cal, Van '11, Lond, Van, Sea '13, Memphis '14, RRHOF '17, Sea I+II '18, Van I+II, Vegas I+II, Sea I+II '240 -

Yes, great story. And Ed's reaction after he realized it made it to her - "she got it!" (with both arms raised) - fantastic.0 -
