So that guy is going to put together a DVD with HD quality, nice! Cannot wait for him to put that together, yeah and missing out on Breath is really dropping the ball...lmao.
Good that you contacted him as his videos are pretty good from what I have seen.
Still cannot wait for the offical bootleg so I can re-live this show with some good audio quality.
he is waiting to get the boot so he can sync up his footage with soundboard quality too. like i said, he seems to know the routine and what hes doing. our show is in good hands. i cant wait to see it.

Boot sounds amazing and man does this concert give me the chills listening to it again.
LROM, to me at least, is one of the best songs I have heard live by any band...Ed's voice is I dunno words cannot describe it....that first encore is off the hook...
Well it's been a week and a half. WHAT A GREAT SHOW!!! Lots of songs I've never heard live the previous 7 times I've seen Pearl Jam. I Got I.D. and Breathe were definitely highlights for me. The shout out to Terry Fox was superb. Eddie got the years and parts of the Terry Fox story mixed up so I know that little speech wasn't scripted. Nice to know some Americans know about our Canadian culture. I too was shocked with the slight dis about Seattle crowds....but honestly....the crowd in Vancouver was unbelievably loud. I've seen them previous years in Vancouver and this was definitely the loudest ad most appreciative crowd to date. And the way Eddie was looking out and around the crowd towards the end of "ALIVE"....you could see that made him feel alive. I think he was a little star struck at the crowd. Loving Stone's shaggy hair and his rocking out during the show.
Ten Club thank-you for the seats. Row 18...what can I say? Another epic Pearl Ja show in the books. These guys bring in the rare and obcure tracks to treat us all who thirsts for it. That is why I keep seeing them. There is always something else added into these set lists that make each show unique and memorable. Just ordered my bootleg of the show and can't wait to hear it!
Another great Ed quote (paraphrase): "Being in Seattle means that we're lower and you're always higher." Hilarious. He totally ripped the Seattle crowds
What specifically did he say about the Seattle crowds? If that is true, that kinda hurts my feelings and is pretty fucked up of him. :(
Having been to both the Seattle shows and the Vancouver show....
pretty fucked up of THE SEATTLE CROWD if you ask me.
There was no comparison. Vancouver had WAY more energy than Seattle. And to me that translates into a deep appreciation for the band.
That said... Seattle had some things working against it:
1) No beer in the venue
2) smaller crowd
3) not as many guests
I still don't think that should have affected the crowd to the degree that it did. The Seattle crowd just... didn't seem into it. Vancouver was so much better.
The Seattle shows were good. The Vancouver show was GREAT.
Cheers to all the peeps in Rows 8, 9, 10 Stone's side.

An ok review, but pretty ridiculous comment about no one caring about PJ's albums after Vitalogy. Obviously she has never listened to say Yield, which could arguably be PJ's best album!
I read her concert reviews often and think she makes provocative remarks in order to incite responses from her readers....
Haven't had a chance to write in until now but would just like to say that the Vancouver show was phenomenal!
Hands down the best live concert (not just PJ) I've ever seen - thanks PJ - increadible night and a wicked show!!
Also, Backspacer is brilliant!!! Unthought Known, Amongst the Waves both challenging Rearviewmirror and Given to Fly, Even Flow, Alive, Black for favorite PJ tunes!!!!
I wasn't too crazy about the bootleg after listening to a handful of songs..
im currently listening to the whole thing right now... I'm at the beginning of Light Years..
It's actually pretty good

great setlist but to be honest the performances are a bit sloppy .. especially ed. still great though.
the LA 4 boot is one of those bootlegs though where EVERYTHING sounds extremely tight and fierce. phenomenal. currently listening to portland and it's also great.

Agreed, Can't really listen to Vancouver, mistakes everywhere....When it comes to a boot, I want one with the tightest performances. I am not bothered about rare songs if they sound like they haven't been rehearsed!
LA2 is a whole lot better, and I have LA 4 on its way.
I've had the DVD of this for awhile, good to re-live it. I really like listening to betterman from this concert due to the crowd involvement, sing along, and that it was a closer.
Went to this show a year and a bit ago. I just got my 10C membership this week, I chose this show for my bootleg. I had pretty poor seats (mind you GM Place has no BAD seats).
When they came I was only starting to become a big Pearl Jam fan. Spinning the bootleg, man what a show! The Johnny Guitar-Given to Fly-MFC trio punch was awesome and Even Flow to cap it off I can't stop repeating them.
At the time I was disappointed Why Go or Corduroy weren't the openers, but I've grown to love In My Tree as the opener and am proud to say I was amongst the first to see it open! I loved the story into Elderly Woman, and was stoked they played it as it was one of my favourites.
Best part of the show for me though, when the pentatonic of Alive filled the arena. I rocked it out with the guy beside me. The show did a perfect wind down from there. Last Kiss fit well, moving into Indiffernce. I was hella excited for Wasted Reprise, especially seeing it was only Ed with his Tele so I knew what was coming next.
The song that hooked me was Betterman, the Gorge one where the crowd sings the first half, so I was excited to finally take part.
The girl I was with had wanted to leave since I Got Shit so I listened to Ledbetter from the concourse, I know I'll see it, if it were Watchtower or Free world I would have held pat.
Needless to say, I loved my first Pearl Jam show, and have recently fallen in love with it again. I just bought a 10C Analog membership, so next time Im hoping to luck out and get decent seats in the lottery. I wish I could go relive this live again! This is number 1 in my books!
This was just my 3rd PJ show and I pulled down Row 1 tickets right in front of Stone. Great night, I've never seen GM Place with more of an edge. I too was relatively new to PJ but have really come to appreciate this set list. Great to hear Light Years and the tribute to Terry Fox and donation to this to cause as well. Just speaks to the integrity and character of our favorite band. Then there's the I Got ID/Love Reign/Breath start to the encore.

Ahhh, same thing happened to me, in that same place, (probably at the same altitude of the venue) about 6 years ago. Although the people i was with didn't want to leave early, thank goodness
