Yep, I bet that is common too. At our store, all the street dated stuff basically sits in the backroom until the day of release. With CDs that is always Tuesday, so they probably just didn't know to put it out. So if a store had it sitting in the backroom, that was probably the issue. But with others, could be that they just haven't received it yet. Either way, it sucks not having it. Good on you for checking with staff. I hated having to tell fellow fans that we didn't have it!

    i bet.
i woulda been sad and upset.

i would've liked to sit there all day to see if any big fans came by. just to see their reaction and see how they handled it.
    i wasn't leaving until i asked staff.
i mean i saw nothing except for a piece of paper that said backspacer.

  • My Target had a wall of Cds and 2 Fixer singles. Hmmm. This situation reminds me of when Chinese Democracy was released last year. The supposed Most Anticipated Album Ever was barely visible for the first couple weeks upon release at its exclusive retailer Best Buy. I can see why Pearl Jam values independent record stores. To all you GN'R/Axl haters, I'm prepared for the flaming.
