Well, if there is ANY good news about Target and that shirt is that the folks here were ON IT this morning, and because of your findings, I opted out of even trying to go get one. So thanks everyone!! $20 for me to spend on dinner and drinks before the show tomorrow!!
  • If you REALLY want one, there are a few on eBay....
    Edmonton 12/93
    Wellington 98
    Melbourne 2003
    Melbourne shows 1 & 3 2006
    Hawaii 2006
    Melbourne 2009
    Christchurch 2009
    Manchester 1 & 2 2012
    Amsterdam 1 & 2 2012
    Upcoming: Vancouver/Calgary/Seattle Dec 2013
  • No problem with my Target in the Seattle area, the shirt is on the small size but it was right where I thought it would be...with the other band type shirts in the guys department.

If it doesn't fit, don't buy it or buy it and hit the gym if it's that big of a deal, I guess... :?
If I knew where it was, I would take you there....there's much more than this.

  • I love my shirt. It is a bit tight on the arms, but I bought an extra large. My wife yelled at me for not getting a large since I lost a lot of weight and XLs can be a bit big on me. But this shirt fits perfect.
    When FASCISM Comes To America
it will be wrapped in the FLAG and
    carrying a CROSS.

If you are making these types of grammatical errors, maybe t-shirts should not be your highest priority... ;)

I must have gotten lucky, my Target had all three. I got the CD and the shirt. The Xl was a little tight but fit ok.

Dude I wore their asses out at my Target. I had them searching high and low for the "missing box". After 40 minutes and several fans ditching the process, low and behold out came a box with about 10 shirts in it. Ranging from M-XL. Shirts small? I bought a Large for my 8 year old. WTF! And no LP I was a little bummed about having to work so hard to get answers. I was cool and nice and they treated me great. Even took down my cell number to call me when more Pearl Jam stuff arrives.

Which leads me to this point:

So, there I am looking over with the manager a series of product shots and price points for various Pearl Jam goodies. It was photo-copied and very hard to read. But I saw the shirts, LPs, maybe rockband? at 39.99, then I saw something that I couldn't make out and pointed it out to the manager and she said "not sure but I could have sworn there was a kit of something with a photobook. She made reference to more stuff time and time again. I explained how us fans are and that it is best to sort it out sooner than later as the questions will mount :-) Then she took my name and number and said she would call me. Who knows? At least they tried hard. Wonder what she meant about more stuff to come?! Pearl Jam Rocks!
  • target is expensive? where do you normally shop, the salvation army??

In July 2007 Densmore said that he would not rejoin The Doors unless it was fronted by Eddie Vedder. Densmore says, "I play with Jim. If there's someone of that level, OK. I'm not gonna join them with Ian. That's not to diss Ian, he's a good singer - but he's no Jim Morrison. Eddie Vedder? My God, there's a singer."

Steelers lost - BOOOOO!!!! Oh well, "Sixburgh" usually starts the season a little slow, so we'll rebound soon I hope!

By the way, for those who don't have one of the participating Targets in your area, Target.com now has updated their website and they have all t-shirt sizes right now. I just bought an XL.

They are not as small as people said they were, my husband put on the medium and it was a smidge to tight a large will be roomy and an XL would be huge on him, he aint no 130 lbs 5'6 dude either...

Re: the Sunday release. My guess is that Target wanted a Sunday release, because that is when they run their weekly circular, and the prices in it are generally good from Sunday through Saturday. If anything, Target is already set up to roll out a new product on a Sunday.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

I got mine this morning, but it is a small XL. Mainly purchased it for the charity part.

The store had no clue where they were until the manager came and pulled them from the cabinet behind the counter in electronics.

if you were XL, you won't where this one. It is very small and tight, but I purchased it anyway

I tried and tried and tried and then I hear the shirt sucks too small....what a joke people...pissed my ass off this morning running aroung town for a fuckin shirt that would be too tight anyway!!!
Plus no one has it or will give it up!!!!

  • I ordered two shirts in size L, and two shirts in size XL.

I'll find out which size fits, and probably return the other size.

I was annoyed to not find the shirts at my nearby Target today, only to come home and find a link to the list of Targets that actually are supposed to carry them...neither of which are the three Targets closest to me.

I was also less than impressed with the single endcap of Backspacer CDs, with no posters, banners, etc. advertising the album. They also didn't have the Rockband/CD combination.

Lastly, I grabbed the 'indie record store' version at my local record shop here in Richmond, VA. Unbelievably, they had no LPs!

I ordered two ($25 each), but they can't tell me when they'll arrive.

    Really?
