Not sure if this has been discussed before and thought it might be cool...also wanted an excuse to say how much my kids love Backspacer so far, especially Supersonic and The Fixer...We were cleaning up the other day and I was in the other room while The Fixer was on. I heard my 7-year old daughter singing 'Yeah, yeah, yeah' and then my 4-year old did it in the next chorus. :) I just thought it was real cute. They also dig the 'surfing' songs like Gremmie, Leaving Here, etc. and have always seemed to like Comatose.

Not quite PJ, but a niece and two nephews of mine go NUTS for The Wolf off EV's Into The Wild album.
  • My Kids Fave PJ songs would definitley have to be "Unemployable" and at the moment they are really liking "Got Some" & "The Fixer"...it doesn't help that I have these songs on VERY High rotation in my Car!!!

My Daughter is 5 and a half and my Son is 3 and they LOVE Listening to PJ!! (Which makes me VERY, VERY Happy!!! )

  • My boy's only 7 months old and I've been trying to get him to listen to the whole back catalogue.

Wanted to get the tunes into his psyche subliminally using this place:

But they have yet to respond to my request for a PJ CD...

Right now, Off He Goes, but it changes daily.
    He took after mom
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.
  • My 3 year old son sings along to World Wide Suicide, Alive, Why Go, and Severed Hand but his favourite is The Fixer.

He also loves the Kings of Leons Crawl, 17, Be Somebody, Use Somebody and his favourite Notion. (He does sing Rock it like a donut instead of Don't knock it, don't knock it tho!! .)

My 5 year old likes Black, The Fixer, Alive but mainly Disney theme tunes!

I love seeing my two rocking out and air guitaring to great tunes!!!

my boys currently love the "doo doo doo doo doo" part at the end of Black right now and it cracks me up hearing them do it when we are in the car. They used to love DTE and Life Wasted but they have calmed down on those 2 songs lately.
  • Lately its been Do the Evolution and YL for the riffs. But since he was a toddler, he's loved Porch and could rip out the words line for line before he could read. Great thread!

  • My two oldest daughters (6 and yrs old) love the fixer.

They also both go crazy over Hard Sun (I know it's not Pearl Jam). Also, since they were babies - We used to sing It's OK to calm them down when they were crying
  • For my 3 and 1/2 yr. old daughter - big fan of Evolution - loves the howl
For my 4 month old son - he makes a pout occasionally and my wife, daughter, and I start to sing Don't Give Me No LIp - he loves it.

  • My 2 year old says "Oceans, Oceans,Oceans!"

He likes to watch the Unplugged DVD and the bonus video on Touring Band.
  • My 5 year old daughter's favorite PJ song is "Blood"
  • My daughter is two years old and doesn't even speak our own language yet, so I think it'll be a while before she starts singing along to the songs :D. But she really likes to dance around like a crazy person and the more uptempo the song, the better the dance - so I think her favorite right now is prolly Even Flow :P

pfffttt... well then she's just a "casual" fan.

    ;)
  • Got some: My 3 yr old loves watching the performance on conan. Dances everytime. Then always says "one more time mom" when its over. The fixer video was just on and she says to me "um mom, I think this song is getting in my head".
