I d/l his CD before the Ed show....but then I bought it after the Ed show...
And as I was looking through last year's Bumbershoot photos - in the ones we took of Ed with Crowded House, there was Liam! So I had seen him before! (and crowded house in 1989)... This year Tim Finn will be at B'Shoot, so I'll have seen the whole family again!!
PS. Hi D!!be philanthropic0 -
I didn't even listen to any of Liam's music prior to seeing him open for Eddie but I was surprise to liked most of his songs. His live performances were quite entertaining. I'll grab my hands on his work very soon.
Oh and E.J.'s kinda HOT in a weird way(without trying to be sexy).

Ever since Ed's shows on the west coast, this cd has been one of my most played on my iPOD. Probably going to see him in SF next month.0

I went to Liam and EJs gig in Sydney, in June and it was one of the best live shows I've seen!!!
I already had his album and loved it from the first listen.
I'm hoping he'll come back to australia and do some more shows!! Unfortunately I doubt he'll come to West Aus....so means I'll have to make the treck over east again - but it'd be worth it

They're from New Zealand and the Kiwi's would tell you to wash your mouth out for saying that
We do like to try and claim them as Aussies though

I met a few Maoris from New Zealand last summer. One of them as a drummer. He's around 21-23 years-old, and amazing drummer he is.ozsmalltowngirl wrote:LMAO!!! Nooooo.

I found out about some slangs they used too. i.e. lollies = candy. I remember after buying some beer, one of them say we can place the beers in "the boot"
I was like WHAT? didn't realized "boot" is referring to the trunk of a car.
I don't remember any other slangs though.

I'll prolly get hammered by the NZers for saying it
There's prolly almost as many Kiwi's living in australia now as there is in NZ.....and yeah - it's not that far....it's almost like another Tasmania
I say all of that affectionately.....I love the Kiwi's

Haha for sure. I really surprise to find out Jay-Z is popular over there.ozsmalltowngirl wrote:Haha.....we use the same terms here.....so learn them and you'll be fine when you join me for the next PJ tour in Aus
We went shopping, and they asked where to get Rocawear clothes(Jay-Z's clothing company). One of them said he likes to dress up like a gangsta sometimes, it's always good to get weird stares from the locals over there.PJ- 04/29/2003.06/24,25,27,28,30/2008.10/27,28,30,31/2009
