Bent "the fixer" single

Anyone get their backspacer single from ten club bent in the mail? Mine was and it was jammed in my mailbox when it clearly said "DO NOT BEND" on the package. Did this happen to anybody else? I hate paying $10 for a bent single. Probably nothing I can do about it though. I do think 10c could package singles and vinyl better though-such as in a padded box instead of just a padded envelope that the single can slide around in and ding corners. I don't know, hopefully my vinyl album comes clean.

Mine was left on my doorstep in the rain as I was coming back from Chicago. Vinyl was bent and the cover was creased and the sleeve and cover was warped and wet.

Mine was bent as well, but I was able to make some nice high quality mp3s of the songs. :D

exactly why I stopped ordering vinyl online. Happens too often -- the size of a 7" really seems to tempt the mailperson to jam it in. Full size LPs usually fair a bit better when it comes to that as they aren't even close. My mailperson exhibited a tenancy to try and fold ANYTHING in half the way someone would with a large envelope. I waited to meet him once but it was obvious he wasn't the "speaking" type.

I bet they have more. Sometimes I check the Goods section in some false hope that they'll put up like 1 copy of ITW :)

Yeah, I knew it was coming and got to the mailbox and opened it up to a nice crammed in envelope. It quite possibly may have been bent before that as well. It definitely is a gamble buying vinyl online. Usually at least a corner is damaged whenever I've gotten anything, even the self titled album when I got it through ten club. I guess I don't even know how they should be packaged to prevent damage but I can tell an envelope isn't do the trick. It wasn't the usual cardboard one like for the holiday single. Maybe they need to design a box or something that reinforces the corners for singles and vinyl even if they get dropped on the corners in the mail.

Mine was bent. . I'm a little peeved about it because for some reason it appears that it was packaged that way.

Just got an email from 10c and this is what they said:

    "Hi,
Send it back and we’ll swap you out. If the vinyl is damaged, we’ll refund your return shipping. If it’s “cosmetic”, you’ll be responsible for the return shipping."

So it looks like they are making an effort to make things right. Thanks 10c!

I wish 10c used UPS. I think that would solve a lot of problems. I trust my UPS guy, but not my USPS lady. My UPS guy seems to care about the stuff I order.
