I wish 10c used UPS. I think that would solve a lot of problems. I trust my UPS guy, but not my USPS lady. My UPS guy seems to care about the stuff I order.
I agree with this statement. My mail-lady left a poster tube sticking out of my mailbox on a rainy day (the mailbox is normal size... and so was the poster). The poster was only dry on the first foot and wet the other 3... as it dangled above the street out of the mailbox. She also puts packages at the base of my mailbox on the ground instead of walking it up to my door. Therefore, drivers by can easily see it, steal it, it gets rained on, etc. I love UPS for this very reason!
I hope it's not the case for international deliveries. I paid $7 shipping for a $6 single, it better arrive mint, because no way I'll bother sending it back. The LP was $15 shipping, so, again, I really hope it arrives sweet.
mine was bent too. wish they came like the xmas singles have been comin the past few years. not sure if i want to go through all the trouble of returning it and paying return shipping. the thing will end up costin $15

That's what I'm worrying about - especially as I could have got them cheaper over here instead of buying direct. Hopefully they'll be fine!

You should complain to your post office. I had this happen about 6 or 7 years ago. I complained twice, and the second time the person I talked to said the mail carrier was getting a lot of complaints. About 3 months later I had a new mail carrier. I guess he finally got enough and wouldn't change his ways. Their policy is to bring it to your door if it can't fit in the mailbox (or take it back to the post office if you have one of those large boxes for multiple homes). They shouldn't leave stuff sticking out of your mailbox or on the ground by the road.
got mine it looked like someone balled it up then shoved it in the mailbox. there are probably 10 or more creases across it and the vinyl is warped in both directions. as the needle bobs up and down it moves left and right. while the vinyl is spinning it actually looks like an egg. i even had to move my counter-weight up several notches on my arm just so the needle wouldn't jump around. Needless to say i caught the mailman the next day and showed him the DO NOT BEND red sticker on the envelope. he proceeded to tell me that he did not deliver on monday and gave me a card with a number on it and said call them. Still have not called them or 10 club about it yet. glad i saw this thread though, i'll see if the p.o. will just ship it back for free that is the least they could do.
