i'm the exact opposite. i drove from syracuse, ny to hartford, ct not knowing where i'd be seated and i got front row center. best concert ever. the other night i drove from syracuse, ny to toronto, waited in line at the border for an hour, and ended up second row stage right.
unless there's some major extenuating circumstance preventing me from taking part in a ten club presale, i will never buy a ticket outside of the ten club. it's just not worth it. ten club all the way, absolutely amazing service.
one time i ordered and paid for one sticker and they sent me three. when i unknowingly bought EV tickets for the unconfirmed Albany show on 6/9, i called the 800 number to get a grip on the situation, and they were so nice to me.
the ten club is the best fan club out there. without them i'd not have mike and eddie's guitar picks, taken a swig off eddie's wine, and the best experiences of my life so far."If you love someone, set them free. If someone loves you, don't fuck up." -ev

The 10c did me no favors with the WORST seats I have EVER had to see PJ! From here on I am going to have to admit that I am going to be supporting the very scalpers you are trying to defeat with the member only pre-sales.
I would have happily passed on these seats for a local club member to enjoy the show. MAYBE... Just MAYBE that SHOULD be an option... seeing as seats aren't on sale to the public at the time when you take my order. THE SCALPERS ARE CHARGING LESS... LESS for the seats next to mine!!!!!

Yeah I agree with Santos. I chose not to spend money to travel from Texas with my # because these were the only U.S. shows announced at the time and i knew that 'everyone' would be going and that my seats wouldn't be good enough for me to justify travel at this time. Everyone with recent 10C #s who were traveling should have prepared for the possibility of bad seats. Your # wouldve also been 364 out of 384 on touringfans so i'm not sure what you were expecting?
I'm sure 10C did the best they could...If i were you I'd just try to be happy I was there and enjoy the show. I think people look at this fan club 10C ticket situation all wrong. I originally joined the 10C to make sure I had the best chance to get ANY ticket. The fact that normally they are pretty good (my 10C # is 383xxx) has always been a huge BONUS. The fact I pay a crumby 20 bucks a year and get this opportunity plus all the other goodies seems a bloody bargain. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ALL YOU COMPLAINERS? Yup. This is the same reason I joined. I'm ecstatic to be able to attend the last 2 Philly shows this year. I know they're high demand shows so we won't get great seats with my # (401xxx) but we're there and that's what matters. If we do luck out and win the lottery one of those nights (10/30 would be awesome seeing it's our 10th anniversary...hint, hint 10C
) then so be it, but if not than that's fine too. I think people need to realize these are just concerts, and you can pay $1000+ per ticket if you really NEED to be as close as possible, but in the end you're going to hear the same songs and have the same great experience (if you choose to!) as everyone else in the venue.
